Djokovic is top3 of the Open Era in big titles won on every surface:

Hard+Carpet:

1) Djokovic 41

Clay:

1) Nadal 38
2) Borg 14
3) Djokovic/Lendl 11

Grass:

1) Federer 8
2) Sampras 7
3) Djokovic /Borg/Laver/Newcombe 5

Federer with a measly 39 big titles on HC (not listed, wonder why :sneaky:)is 2nd all time which makes Federer the only member of Big 3 that is 1st or 2nd on 2/3 surfaces.

Meh, main difference between Fed and Djokovic is 2015-16 vulturing during Nadal's downtime, plus the Diego 250 this past fall lol. Besides, how far down the list is Nadal on HC and grass? Think we should probably leave that one alone
Nadal has 2 big titles on grass and 16 on HC/Carpet. So yeah, not that high up. But let's please focus on Djokovic vulturing and his Diego open, no need to bash Fedal and after all, this is a Lew topic!

But...,

Fed can’t do jack on clay. One gifted FO and 1/3 modern clay masters lmao.

Djokovic beat Nadal in the final of all three Masters (Federer only in one), beat Nadal at RG (Federer did not) and pushed him to the 5th set at RG in a semifinal (Federer did not).

You should just acknowledge that Djokovic troubled Nadal on clay a lot more than Federer did.

I agree. nadal's competition on clay sucked big time. That's what you mean, right?
:happydevil:

I mean it was bad enough as it is when fed was his main competitor.
Then you had 2017-2020 with Thiem as main rival, ROTFL, a tired Wawrinka in 17 final and a hacky Djokovic in 20 final. the pits.

oh and also that guy Djokovic in 11-14 who couldn't even get any win at RG coming close to sucky Fed's wins of RG 09 over delpo and RG 11 over Djokovic himself

Why carpet is grouped with HC?
Let's keep it separately.
Carpet and HC have in common as much as grass and clay do

Roddick pushed Nadal twice to 5 sets on clay.
So Roddick is a better clay player than Novak?

It's almost like that logic doesn't make sense when you don't look at it through tinted lenses. Lol.

Big titles has only been a thing for a couple of years. It's a very general category that inflates a player's value.
