Djokovic need not worry...it's all Novak for the rest of the season and future...

As a Federer and Nadal fan I have been spoilt but I respect Djokovic hugely - you can't deny his brilliance.

At Wimbledon he is the clear favorite with only probably Roger Federer the closest guy that can beat him, and Djokovic just has to counter punch Federer and win easily.

For the US Open, the only players that could potentially beat Djokovic are probably Federer, Nadal or a souped up Wawrinka - but these three seem way behind Djokovic on hard, Aus 19 for example, Nadal's harder hitting style doesn't work against Djokovic, and he hasn't got the fitness to play his old game with Novak.

ATP Finals and Aus 20, Djokovic being fit again goes in as clear favorite. He will be one of the favs again at RG 20.

Djokovic is 32, and his body looks in perfect order and has 3 years at the very top, and 3/4 years after that he will be fit enough to be a top 3 or top 5 - so he will most likely break Federer's total of most grand slams won at this stage.

For me, even though Novak likely retires as the player with the most Grand Slams, Federer and Nadal will always be 1 and 2 for me because of what they achieved in their history. The quality of matches like Wimbledon 2008 was never witnessed before that or since.

Djokovic May have a long reign at No 1 but the main reason he is playing is for the major count and that suffered a HUGE setback today .

Prime Serena vs Prime Thiem at the French Open - Serena has to wait for Thiem to return from his bathroom break.

Who wins?

I wouldn't say so, French Open is historically the hardest to win because of the physical efforts, and Djokovic is 32 so as the years go on it is less likely he is competing for the French.

On the other surfaces, providing a player of Prime Federer's quality doesn't arrive, I don't see how Djokovic can't win more grand slams - especially with Federer and Nadal age and physicality.

But as I said, Djokovic winning another boat load of grand slams in a weaker field doesn't mean he overtakes Federer and Nadal as the two greatest in my book.
