Djokovic News

I may be drasically drastically wrong, but adding meat in his diet again, may make him in a Multiple Grand Slam winner, coz his game is still top notch, its just the durability and body conditioning.

maybe, i was thinking about it too. but it will not happen.

Hope it is not fake news.:cautious:
He seems healthy and in good form now days.
Maybe it will be enough to lift the title one more time.

of course, but i do not know how realistic it is. but again, he did so much more than i, or even his most optimistics fans, ever thought was possible!

I'm just taking it one match a time now, just want to enjoy whatever is left of his last few tournaments. Any title wins are a special bonus, because he already has the greatest career of them all and has everything IMO. As a fan, I only want quality now, he has all the records.

yes, all main records except just that one, all titles. even if it is on lower tier of main records it is still the only one.

i would rank them as:

T1: YE#1, weeks at no1, slams, completing tennis, nole-slam
T2: CGS, GM, highest points
T3: WTF, masters, big titles
T4: W%, all titles, h2h vs main rivals

Dude you gotta call nole-slam differently. It's not a registered trademark, and it's not like Raz, Sinner or any other couldn't replicate the nole-slam either. Honestly seems stupid, no pun intended. Just call it non-calendar grand slam, rolling year grand slam or something like that.

every tennis fan know what nole-slam is!

look at RG official site for example: https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/article/will-djokovic-win-second-nole-slam-rg19

and it is well know term in media:
https://**********.net/djokovic-very-proud-thrilled-djokovic-secured-the-nole-slam/

if you write nole-slam is plenty of results

Not sure every tennis fan knows that. Definitely most Nole fans. But there's many casual fans and international fans who are not even familiar with English or internet slang.

Roland Garros website itself needed to clarify it after the title. It's holding all the majors. That's the most natural way to put it imo. But we're all free, of course

Djokovic won it. Calendar or non calendar it is the Grand Slam, imo.

Do you want to believe that NCYGS is better than CYGS.
It dont work like that
maybe not. i think that the main stuff is to own all 4 at once! but i do think that nole-slam on 3 surfaces and with more matches (bigger draws) are most impressive and the greatest 4 slams run ever! it is no evidence that CYGS is more difficult to achieve than any other combination of slams! or that any combination of 4 slams is more difficult than any other. it is just to rare to take any conclusion. it happened once since 3 surfaces and you can not take any conclusion on that data!

I feel he is little bit conflicated now. A part of him wants the big titles again, but a part and a big part at the same time believes that he doesnt have to prove anymore. The man conquered Fedal FFS , Sinneraz are just kids in front of them.

yes, at he said, his main rivals was and always will be fedal. i think that he should try to win MC and some tournaments of any kind and he has more chance at some MM than big ones. becouse the only main record that he does not hold is all titles. and it is also the only thing, of some bigger importance, there he still is behind fed.

He clearly doesn't put that much importance into that record though. He still mostly opts for slams and the occasional masters events.

Yes, he has won a few 250s recently and they were battles, but I still don't see that as a focused effort to try and surpass Federer and Connors for most titles.

Novak is champion player and somewhere inside him he still believes he can produce results like AO SF.

Federer Nadal knew they cannot produce that level of play and they retired.
It is about a minimum level of playing level . .
Novak still can win some lesser tournament if he can play them whole heartedly.
But #25 is not happening.

yes, he did not change his schedule he still play as he always did mostly slams and masters, just fewer. he still play just a few MM events. one of those is his own. now athen that before was belgrade.

Yes, Novak still sees himself as a contender, the best of the rest after the top two dogs.

It shows he's found balance in what he is doing and is fine with it, otherwise he would have changed things.

he would need some luck. as RET and WO he got and little things to go his way. nobody thought that fed or even rafa has multiple slams in them in 2016 but top 2 dogs get injured.
we do not know what would happen at AO if establishment did not saved top2 players with the roof and MTO for cramping. i do not think nole will win another slam (many thing must go his way but he did more than anyone expected of him his entire career) but some master (MC if i can choose) and MM titles are absolute posible.

Although I dont know why is he playing in USA, for some reason feel he is gonna have a successful swing, or at least IW tournament. Hope he skips clay and focus on grass.

Skip all clay tourneys? For sure it would be a really bad move.

He cant win RG, and masters are irelevant now. Skip clay, rest, heal and prelare for grass. Play one grass tournament and go to Wimbledon fully prepared and healed. Literally, that is his last chance for a slam (of course will need a lot of luck to win it).

i do not think so. every title is relevant. and MC would have very big value. almost as a slams. triple GM and 3x all big titles in a regular ATP tour.
