I just hope he makes it to the SF to prove he can still be a strong contender in slams for a while. Him losing in early rounds would be alarming.

Granted, there's the AO result, but it was 4 months ago (in a very particular context, at that). Things tend to change a lot between AO and RG.

While this is true, Djokovic has also shown that he is a very different beast in slams than masters. It's not going to be that easy to beat him.

Well damn, he was even older than I thought. Not sure Djokovic will match that but I won't be suprised if he does.
@NoleFam - Rosewall reached slam finals at 39 years of age, so that is something Djokovic will also be targeting.
He was only 4 months off from this one in Australia this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he matches this one either and this one seems more probable.

He might pull this one off if Alcaraz stays injured and he avoids Sinner until the final.
