After his win, he first fell on ground, then ran lightly to Alcaraz at net, smiled, hugged him, said some comforting words, so far pretty standard for a winner i big tournament, grandslam etc......but then a like 2 minute full body ecstatic reaction of joy, relief, happiness, pride, followed (tears mixed with body and hands trembling, shaking as effect of it all). First on his knees, head to ground, then on knees now arms and head lifted to sky, then stood stumbling up, back to chair, again more crying under his towel...and later up to his box.
I cant recall any such strong, moving winners reaction in tennis ever, or for that matter in any other individual sport.
And that from a veteran in the sport!
I am interested to know from others on this.
