I think when in the zone Wawrinka, but on a day to day basis Djokovic. Backhand probably the exact same thing.
How often is Stan in the zone? Sure, peakiest of peak Stanimal's FH is outrageous, but that shot appears 5% of the time throughout his career. Djoker's FH gets the job done. It's not a beautifully executed shot, nor is it superlative, but the rest of his game compensates for it. Stan's FH is way too inconsistent and prone to errors. Novak's FH is solid, if unlovely.

This is kind of like comparing Federer’s forehand with Del Potro’s. When they’re both on, Del Potro’s forehand is simply too overpowering. Day-in, day-out, however, Federer’s forehand is in a different class.

I may have posted in this thread before but in case I haven't, I would go with Wawrinka's forehand.

That said, I think Djokovic easily has a better forehand day in day out. But when I consider responses to questions like this I always think about it in the context of my club tennis play. So on the basis that either of their forehands would essentially be a clean winner against my standard competition, I would rather have the aesthetics of the Wawrinka forehand.

Djokovic's is like a solid, full rotation haymaker punch, whereas Wawrinka's is like standing on the other side of the room and running towards the target before punching. Just ridiculously brutal to look at.
