thank you for accepting that Nadal sucks on indoor HC and has been very lucky at the USO.
that he'd have won only 1-2 slams outside clay in any other non-homogenised era.
Hence confirming Nadal is not even top 10 in the open era.
thank you for confirming that djokovic has only got past 6-7 slams due to homogenised era and Federer being past his prime.

As far is Nadal is concerned, I respect him hugely, but he has only 1 indoor title, no? Did he ever make 4 slam finals in a year ? do you see your own cluelessness.

Oh and here's a clue ...A major chunk of Laver's career was in the pro tour.
He also won the major HC events in 69, when he completed the GS.
Nadal won 3 slams on 3 surfaces in 2010...thank you for confirming

Dude, so now you saying clay hard and grass are the same?

And there are no indoor hard courts, I did suggest you contact Greenset manufacturers.

Are you saying Nadal was lucky at USO as he had Federer and Djokovic in the draw rather than Sampras and Connors?
I'm saying Nadal had 0 USOs peak to peak wrt Federer.
I'm saying Nadal faced tired opponent all throughout his draws in USO 10, 13 (with 5-setters in their previous matches). then got a djokovic who hadn't a top win the entire year before the USO in 2010 and who was rubbish in 2/4 sets in USO 13&choked away 1 set (3rd set).
also, clown draw in USO 2017 with no top 25 and a delpo who got drained after 1 set and federer who had injury in Montreal affecting him at the USO.

Yes, there are indoor hard courts. Its on record everywhere. ATP knows it. Players know it. I suggest you contact a psychologist. etc....Your disconnect with reality is severe.

Nadal made 4 slam finals in a year 0 times. thanks for confirming.
he has 6 slams where there is actual competiion (HCs+grass) --- even there he got lucky.
whereas federer has 19 slams there.

also thanks for confirming Nadal is not top 10 in the open era.

there are 6 HC masters and 3 clay masters, genius !
So for a perfectly even distribution, it should be 66.67% HC, 33.33% clay
fed's extra% on HC ~ 12%
djoko's extra% on HC ~ 6%
nadal's extra% on clay ~ 40%
Even worse for Fed. If there are 6 masters on his preferred surface and three on Nadal's preferred surface, shouldn't Fed be dominating Nadal in the M1000 count? I'll check:

Rafa: 34
Fed: 28

No, seems not.... and Fed has had six more years at it - lol

Sorry, I didn't realise Murray Delpo, Djokovic, Federer and Thiem and wawrinka did not play on clay. I also forgot Phillipousis Henman Baghdatis were ATGS.

Clearly we do not reside in the same country as our versions of history appear somewhat different no?

In the real world Nadal is clearly superior on clay and hard than Federer when both peak at same time, that is statistically proven.

Murray was useless on clay before 2015.

You seem somewhat upset, I found it hard to decipher your post as it doesn't read that well, but I shall try and address the issues you attempt to raise.

It is fact Federer won 13 Majors in the weakest era of all time, none of Roddick Safin Hewitt Henman (Federer even lost to Henman) Phillipoussis and Baghdatis are anywhere near the level of Nadal, Djokovic Murray, Del Potro, Wawrinka.

The reality is when the going got tough Federer became an irrelevance on hard courts (0 US Opens from 2008 is embarrassing) and clay.

Meanwhile Nadal and Djokovic were winning everywhere against all comers on all surfaces. The more you get angry (your posts get more and more difficult to read as you type in a reactionary way rather than in a calm measured way which is another example of how to spot a millennial) the more it becomes clear you know Nadal is GOAT, Djokovic a close 2nd, and Federer a distant 3rd. The facts speak for themselves.

The reality is when the going got tough Roger had to alter his game with age in order to compete with a younger Nadal and Djokovic entering their primes and managed to get back to number 1 at the age of 36. Nadal and Djokovic never had to deal with pontential GOAT contenders that are 5 years younger than them like Roger. As much as you Nadal and Djokovic fans like to ignore the age factor, it is perhaps the biggest factor in the whole debate.

"dude" , its a fact Nadal has 1 AO just as Federer has 1 FO. Only a dishonest/dumbass idiot can mix up AO and USO.
its also a fact that federer has 19 slams outside of clay >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 6 slams outside of clay
its also a fact that nadal is an absolute failure indoors for an ATG.

now go and cry about such stuff.

As far the bold part, yes, in your deranged world.

A good way to look at whether Nadal is better on hards than Djokovic is on clay, at least from a matchplay perspective, would be to look at the people that have beaten them in the grand slams conducted on the relevant surface. Looking at the results, I don't believe that Nadal would've won many of these USOs but for Federer/Djokovic/Murray, but I do believe that Djokovic would've won most of these RG's but for Nadal.

Let's take a look at Djokovic at RG first.

Djokovic FO Losses:

2008 - Nadal
2009 - Kohlschreiber
2010 - Melzer
2011 - Federer
2012 - Nadal
2013 - Nadal
2014 - Nadal
2015 - Wawrinka
2017 - Thiem
2018 - Cecchinato
2019 - Thiem

Apart from Kohli, Melzer, and Cecchinato (and I don't even want to count the first two because Djokovic was a mess in late 2009 and early 2010), he's only lost to Federer, Nadal, Thiem, and 2015 GOATing Wawrinka in this tournament.

Nadal HC Slam Losses:

Aus Open
2008 - Tsonga
2009 - Murray (was getting destroyed before he retired hurt)
2010 - Ferrer
2012 - Djokovic
2014 - Wawrinka (another retirement)
2015 - Berdych
2016 - Verdasco (R1)
2017 - Federer
2018 - Cilic (retired -- again!)
2019 - Djokovic

US Open
2008 - Murray
2009 - Del Potro
2011 - Djokovic
2015 - Fognini
2016 - Pouille
2018 - Delpo

Nadal has lost in early rounds several times here to players like Cilic, Berdych, Ferrer (!), Verdasco (!!), Fognini (after being 2 sets and break up, !!!), and even Pouille (!!!!!!!). And let's not turn a blind eye to all those W/O and retirements he hands out; if you win by outmuscling your opponents on the one hand, you can't explain away the times you can't step on the court because of the same style that won you all those matches in the first place on the other.

You are an absolute joke on this forum. That's a fact. :)

it is fact that nadal won 12 RGs in the weakest clay court era of all time and won 3 USOs with very easy draws.
pathetic. downright pathetic. quite obvious that he's not even in the top 10 of all time.

Roddick was thrashing Djokovic and lead their h2h 5-2 at one point , ended up 5-4.
Safin , not even seeded ripped apart Djokovic at Wimbledon 2008.
Davydenko thrashed your boy 6-1 on HC, LMAO !

Oh and Nadal was there from RG 2005 onwards, Djokovic from 2007 onwards. Agassi was there in 2004-2005.

Nadal won diddly squat outside of clay in slams from 2011 onwards.
Got very lucky with the easiest draw of all time in USO 2017.
And with a tired Djokovic who imploded (& other weak players as well) in USO 2013.

Djokovic of course needed Federer to be past his prime. Heck even past his prime Federer was a point away from going 3-2 vs peak Djokovic in slams in 2011-2012. :-D:-D

I cant take anyone seriously as even remotely knowledgeable who relies on Roddick having a leading h2h v Djokovic when Djokovic was not even an adult lol.

That is some serious Federer fan desperation lol.

Beating Nadal and Djokovic as kids really isn't the best case for Federer fans to illustrate Federer had a more than easy era pre 2008.

AS for Nadal's apparent weak draws...are these the draws federer wasnt good enough to even make the final in?

Thiem is the same. Besides Thiem is not even at the level of A Safin/Nalbandian/Roddick/Hewitt on hard and grass but those guys are supposed to be weak players.

In the early years of Nadal's wins all he had was Federer, who I keep hearing from posters like you was not even that good even on his BEST surfaces, so why is he all of a sudden a great opponent on his worst surface?

Djokovic is a good clay player but he's better on HC, and fed has had to play Djokovic a load on HC.

The point is the competition has been stronger on HC than clay for the entire time Nadal and Fed have been winning slams. If 03 to 07 was weak, it was weakest on clay

11 majors in 4 years because his strongest opponent was a 34+ year old with back issues and Nadal and Novak were pretty much still kids.

Nadal beat Federer at his best in AO 09 final and WIM 08 final.

Fed couldn't even come close to beating Nadal at RG.
