Is it true that all players that play on Center Court have to pay Federer for their court time?
They have to get his written permission first.

Sensible club rulesThey have to get his written permission first.![]()
Why not when he's played all his matches so far on centre court?
I think it's safe to say us Djokovic fans aren't exactly your favourite people in the world cc0.Well, they honored Djokovic's request to be put on CC so can the Djokovic conspiracy loons finally pipe down now? Concentrate on whether or not Djokovic will win the title.

I don't use Twitter but yeah, I can definitely believe there are fruitcakes from all fanbases on there(one of the reasons I don't go on it truth be told). There are plenty of good Djokovic fans but unfortunately, many are conspiracy nuts like that NoleFam cult on Twitter.
Yea well it Is disgusting favouring.
A 12-slam winning legend needs to request a Center Court appearance? And some people here think it's alright? The other 3 slam tournaments will soon be laughin' all the way to the bank! Wimbledon, in my opinion, is quickly becoming irrelevant.
Djokovic should realize that court allocation is a function of how much the crowd wants to see a player and not based on accomplishments alone
How come folks don’t understand this simple logic
Well he is friends with RAFA so he's biased.Murray agreed with putting Fed on court 1, basically implying Anderson doesn't stand a chance vs Fed and saying Djokovic-Nishikori is a better match. He was very big on the Nadal-Del Potro match.

Nadal can spank Delpo a dozen more times and the matchup will still be more hyped than Fed-Anderson simply because Del Potro has name recognition and because Anderson isn't a threat anyway.Did MuryGOAT miss his pal Rafa force feeding Delpo breadsticks and bagels in their last two slam matches? Atleast after this one the hype will die down for this match-up.

and don't forget they are #1 and #2 in the world and hold the last 6 slams. Djoker is being a baby.20 > 12
17 > 12
They won the last 6 slams
He doesn’t have a strong case
This for sure. Djoker and monfils should have been night match but nobody wanted to play day and djoker asked to because he knew monfils would melt. For people who said why should Novak have a request .
Federer accepted to have requested Australian Open Organisers to have Night match versus Struff.
Hence Djokovic and Monfils had to kill each other in day Heat .
Ofcourse Monfils Djokovic deserved night match Not Struff Vs Fed..
are you sure? they are saying on tv fed is on court 1.All QF matches on CC
So the most predictable outcome of the match should be place on Court 1, then Isner/Raonic should be playing on CC because their match is the most unpredictable of all.Personally, I think they can move Fed to Court #1 just for this 1 match at least. His is going to be easily the most predictable of the outcomes. Novak and Rafa have potentially more interesting match-ups and for that reason alone they should both be allocated the Centre Court spot. It won't do His Greatness any harm to 'slum' it on the next best court just for once!![]()
Oh dear oh dear.Proof that if you whine enough you’ll get your own way in the end. If he had been able to keep it in his pants his form wouldn’t have dropped off, He’d be seeded higher than 12, and he wouldn’t have to resort to crying like a big baby.
Roddick is still no Wimbledon champion. How much more do I have to whine?Proof that if you whine enough you’ll get your own way in the end. Sure because Delpo's a star (and he earned that with that 2009 USO title and his charisma) but we won't be getting this "an epic in the making" nonsense, atleast not to the same degree. Some rivalries/match-ups go through phases, Rafa is Delpo's daddy right now.

True, but that was 5-6 years ago, he also pushed Nadal in 2013 IW and beat him at the Olympics, but something has happened to the big man. He isn't as clutch (at least against Nadal) as before, loses the killer instinct whenever he plays him (it's strange that such thing never happens when he plays Roger) and completely change the mindset - turns into a grinder.Del Potro put Djokovic and Federer through the ringer on Centre Court and now it's Nadal's turn. I think you may be underestimating him a bit.

It's not about losing, it's the way he lost these matches, he basically gave up. That wasn't Delpo we used to see in a big matches.Well he's lost that last two matches but before he won the last two. He can switch on at any moment and knowing what he can do on grass if he's feeling it, I don't take him lightly.
Yeah, the problem really isn't Djoko, it's Nishikori. He's boring as hell. Probably Djoko-Wawa would be CC.

Unfortunately, I don't share your optimism, but hope you're right. At RG, he stepped out there like he didn't have any belief which was very disappointing. He just went out there to lose basically. Most players don't think they have a chance when they step on the court against Rafa in a BO5 on clay either though. At the USO, he started out well against Rafa and then seemed to hit a brick all. He did have two big wins before that, coming back to beat Thiem in 5 and beating Federer in 4 tough sets so maybe that had taken it's toll. Hopefully he has enough in the tank to give us a match tomorrow but I never underestimate him in a big match.

That was back when Delpo used to be a fighter, he'd still lose most of the time against the big 4 but he'd fight tooth and nail, go for his shots, refuse to be intimidated against anyone. He still shows up against Fed but that's about it, especially against Nadal he purrs like a kitten nowadays.
Match-ups change, Berdman was often a handful for Fed for quite a few years (especially in slams) and then lost 10 times in a row.
LOL, the most prestigious tournament and the wealthiest tournament is going to become irrelevant! Dream on, fool!
I hope Del Potro can give us a match tomorrow and he has turned up against the big boys on Centre court before. We will see.
That's my thought on that topic, not reality sadlyare you sure? they are saying on tv fed is on court 1.

Sure, I hope so too. I enjoyed his epics over the years, even when they end up costing some of my other favourites. I want to see him fight, instead of mope.

Would be funny if Nishikori retired after the first set
Yeah, exactly. Isn't that the smart part of the scheduling? Trying to schedule next round opponents to go on at the same time. They've literally done the opposite of that here. Imagine if the two matches on first tomorrow both end in an hour and a half, and the second matches each go on for 5 hours. That'll be fairi got the opinion that nadal vs delpo and djokovic vs nishikori are the matches for center court in a way about the match up...
but, the matches should be sheduled because of the semis. so nadal/delpo and Djokovic/nishikori should play at the sam time, and the other two matches before or after that...
strange decision
