Djokovic, the Pharaoh of Tennis

Bender

G.O.A.T.
Hear me out:
  1. King Djoker Djoser was an Egyptian Pharaoh who ruled from c 2650 BCE to c 2575 BCE.
  2. He ruled for a long time (19 years), but he is most notable for building the oldest known pyramid in Egypt in Saqqara, called the Step Pyramid ("what are you doing, step pyramid??")
  3. The architect of the Step Pyramid was none other than Imhotep
Meanwhile:
  1. Djoker is a tennis player who has ruled tennis since c 2011 CE
  2. He has ruled for a long time (on and off for 10 years), but he recently is notable for visiting pyramids
  3. The architect of his nickname on TTW, @MichaelNadal, refers to him as Imhotep

Other similarities
  • Djoser's crowning achievement is becoming one of the GOAT Pharaohs due to his achievements in the dirt of Saqqara under which he is buried
  • Djoker's biggest achievement is becoming one of the GOAT tennis players due to his achievements in the dirt of Roland Garros under which he used to be annually buried

Exactly

Lol has ruled tennis since 2011. He has ruled it intermittently. Plenty of periods off the throne for him lol

So he enslaves others he regards as inferior to build the pyramids for him?
On a serious note, the idea that slaves built the pyramids comes from judeo-christian traditions and Hollywood movies.

IRL, there's actually no evidence that slaves (let alone Jewish slaves) built the pyramids at all, while we have ample evidence that labour was provided by skilled labourers who were fed and paid very well.

Djoser was one of the greatest Pharoahs ever.
Unfortunately, he was still not as popular as Tutankhamun and Ramses II aka Ramesses the great.
Pft, Tutankhamun is only popular because of his endorsement money that he was buried with, because in reality he's a nobody with nothing more than a short stint at #1 and "what ifs" with no actual major accomplishments to speak of. He's the Rios of pharaohs.

Ramesses II is the most famous New Kingdom pharaoh yet was referred to as the great ancestor like he belonged to the pre-Open Era of ancient Egyptian history, and was notable for his longevity, being unbeatable when he won in battle, and having a crooked nose. He's the Federer of pharaohs.

Info in 1 and 2 don't really match lol. Either he ruled it since or he ruled it on and off lol.

I didn't say he ruled uninterrupted since 2011 although in comparison to Djoser I can see how that may be inferred

In either case, once you've read #2 it's clear what the intended meaning of #1 is anyway

Yes you did. You said he ruled tennis since 2011. That implies uninterrupted.
I did read 1 and 2. Contradictory sentences confused me.

Has he built a pyramid under the 40-15 angle?

Well mine was much less serious, hope you'll forgive me :p

Imhotep was not a pharaoh, but a priest, specialized in alternative medicine, like healing Nile water.
I did not say Imhotep himself was pharaoh, but as high priest, Imhotep is like Djoker in that he was apparently sent by god

Ramesses the Great was the second Ramesses

Djoser was the first and only Djoser

II-I, bud
II-I bud is genius ;)

Even Rameses was a weak era vulture though. I mean who else was building pyramids around that time? The Mayans and Greeks? Aka the ancestors of Fernando Gonzalez and Baghdatis/Philipoussis who clearly had a MUG mentality. Of course Egyptian pyramids are going to be the biggest when the competition builds 10 ft tall sand castles.

Career inflation era never ended. 2850 BC- 2021 AD, gimme a break Roflmao

Ramesses had more endorsements and a bigger bank account while Djoser's pyramids had a higher ELO rating.
Essentially a tie, imo

Fun facts:

-King Djoser was once mad at his house maid and he threw an apple towards her which hit her right on her throat.

-King Djoser had a fling with a Queen from Jambudvipa, Queen Deep Throwed.
