It was sadly expected though. 2nd half of 2022 and 2023 leading to 2024 was too much a barrage of things going wrong.Nadal’s 2024 has been very sad tbh. At least his son got to see him play

There's nothing sad about Rafa's career lol, I would have thought you were insane if you told me he'd even be playing in 2019.Nadal’s 2024 has been very sad tbh. At least his son got to see him play
He wont let win the match. But definitely played easy to help nadal go to tiebreakI mean you kinda get the feeling Novak is giving Nadal the chance to win this match but we should all play along for nostalgia sake and let Nadal go out on a high
There it isI think Novak wants to take Rafa to a TB
Does this match, officially, count in their H2H ?
It might change as the years go on. Djokovic owns property in Spain and if he played Golf as Nadal wouldn't be shocked if they did some matches for charity. They were fierce competitors as Martina-Evert and eventually some of that will die down in the future.I’m amazed we never got another Djokodal doubles outside of that joke one in 2020. They must really not like each other
Depends on who wins.Does this match, officially, count in their H2H ?
I actually think match #60 should've been Wimbledon 2022 F. As Nadal needed foot injection in FO and barely finished the match with Taylor Fritz, I thought he didn't have much left. Perhaps in retrospect 2022 ATP Finals should've been his final tournament. Nadal had too much fighting spirit to retire unless he knew he was `100% done.It was sadly expected though. 2nd half of 2022 and 2023 leading to 2024 was too much a barrage of things going wrong.
I remember the Fritz match. Think that was over 4 hours long.I actually think match #60 should've been Wimbledon 2022. Well of all the MPs in the history of tennis… that certainly was one of them
