Djokovic versus Federer on clay?

I loved that one even more ;)

"Stop showing me your hand, okay? Don't tell me to be quiet, okay? When I wanna talk, I talk. I don't give a sh*t what he said! Don't f*cking tell me the rules!"

Ironically, some guys around here claim Roger isn't emotional/exciting enough ;)

He just doesn't show it as much. But I gotta hand it to him - he is the most elegant/graceful player on tour. Even when he swears or breaks rackets it looks so damn beautiful. I bet he looks graceful even when taking a sh*t

I doubt it. Had your fun? That was untypical and quite immature from you really.

Maybe if you compare him to Rafa perhaps!:) Fed might not show as much emotion after a good shot or rally, but if it's an important point, he is as emotional as anyone.

No, he doesn't need to lighten up. It is not allowed in my culture.

Going back to the OP, wonder what the consensus will be if Djoker wins the FO this year. Because at the moment Federer definitely has the better resume on clay

I would give it to Djoker if he won the French Open. He's won MC and Rome (3x). That's his deciding edge over Federer.

Fed would still have the 2 extra Finals. Djokovic will probably pick up at least one Clay M1000 this year though. Beating Nadal there will have the biggest effect on it though.... If Djokovic wins it, I think he will end up having the better Clay resume at the end of both careers.

The RG finals edge is not that big a thing to me. That's more to do with seeding because Novak was #3 or that Nadal was dropped on Djoker's side in 2013 in what was, for all purposes, the de facto final anyway. He played Nadal in the SF's. So basically the only difference was that Federer lost a round later to Nadal.

As it stands, Federer has beaten Djokovic in MC twice, and Djokovic has beaten Federer in Rome twice so that's even. But Djokovic has the versatility of masters titles along with more wins over Nadal at both Rome and MC. The biggest thing Federer has going for him in the event that Djokovic wins RG is that he was the streak snapper in 2011, but as I said, I'd give it to Djokovic if he won RG, but let's not forget that he has yet to do that, and until he does, Federer is the better player on clay.

RG finals edge may not be the biggest thing, but it does matter ..

talking about the seedings ..

nadal beat federer in the semi in RG 05 ...I think federer would've taken out either of puerta/davydenko ..

soderling beat federer in RG 10...federer would've beat anyone else not named nadal, including berdych IMO ..

that more or less evens out IMO ...

Djokovic won 11 masters including Rome 6 times. He won all 3 masters and beat Nadal in all 3 finals.
He won RG record 3 times and beat Nadal in RG 2 times.
He has 90+ wins in RG next to only Nadal and has reached RG final 7, sf 12 and qf, record breaking 17 times.

And he is Olympic gold medalist on this surface bringing his big title count to 15

Incredible tennis career on clay. If he only played clay every year, he would be top 20 for entire career.
