Novak Djokovic

5 Wimbledons (2 successful defenses)

Rafael Nadal + Sir Andy Murray

4 Wimbledons

1 Olympic Gold on grass

6 Queens

Close. Maybe lean to Nadal/Murray. If Djokovic wins one more Wimbeldon he edges it imo. Peak level would be a different story though combined imo. Murray 2 OGs maybe make up for the extra Wimbledon than Novak has then the 6 Queen’s titles as well for both.

How would you even combine peak level for two players? Geometric mean?
Yeah you can’t really. Was thinking more about peak Nadal and peak Djokovic on grass. Not much between them despite Djokovic being clearly greater as of now.

It's Murrdal, not really close. Even though Djokovic has 1 more Wimby, Nadal has defeated all his top opponents for his Wimbledons and Murray has a ton of grass titles.

It is 2 extra finals not 3 or 4. Nadal and Murray have 8 finals combined. Djokovic has 6.

I think that there is some confusion here. Lol. Half of us are thinking Murrdal won 4 and have 4 extra finals which equals 8 finals overall, whereas the other half are saying they have 2 more finals overall than Djokovic who has 6 finals overall.

And some of us are saying three for some reason o_O

I'll take 5 Wimbledons over 4 + OG any day. Not to mention 3 ATG won epics (2014F, 2018SF and 2019F) over 1 (2008F). And overall quality of opponents.

I think it’s 1 gold and 2 extra finals and 6 Queens titles though. Vs the extra title at Wimbledon. I think one more Wimbeldon would have It edging to Djokovic favour.
Nadal has extra big wins as well himself. 2011/2018 vs Del Potro should count as well. Maybe it is even.

1 OG on grass though.

Definitely the duo. I honestly have no idea how the gap between Nole and Rafa/Murray on grass grew to 3 more titles.

We're talking grass here, so it's only 1 gold. And bringing other matches only works in Novak's favour. Del Potro 2013, Cilic 2014, Anderson 2015. And if you're going with Delpo 2011, then there are Federer 2015, Dimitrov 2014, Tsonga 2011.
Anything below 1000 is a joke and serves only as a warm up imo.

Yeah I saw my mistake about the grass. I forgot the other 2 won were on HC! So my bad.

One of the rare cases where one could argue for the player (or pair of players in this case) with fewer slams. OG in grass, 6 Queens titles and positive grass H2H.

I cannot understand how Djokovic can have 5 WImbledon to be honest, and not hating on him because he perfectly could have a couple of extra HC slams and an extra RG title, but when I see djokovic playing on grass I dont see a 5 times champion to be honest.. To me Boris Becker despite having only 3 Wimbledons in the bigger Wimbledon Legend.. borg, Becker, Edberg, Sampras and Federer all looked much more natural playing in grasscourts. Of the lat 20 years I can think of Sampras , Federer, Henman , Rafter and Murray to some extent being "natural" grass players.. the rest not so much, Both djokovic and Nadal adapted their game to be succesful on grass, but they are not natural, and to be honest I find even the game of Nadal to look more natural on Grass, specially his game over the last 3 years in Wimbledo, not so much the game that gave him more success between 2006-2011..
