Djokovic vs. Nadal on grass

Well, Djokovic has been beating the two of them in pretty big matches. He dethroned Nadal at RG denying him his 10th title, and possibly ending his run of winning a slam every season. He denied Federer magic number 18 at Wimbledon and to hold most Wimbledon titles of all time. He beat Nadal his favorite place outside of RG also, MC in straights. In fact, Djokovic has straight-setted Nadal each time he played him. He denied Federer a chance to win Rome, one of the few titles Federer hasn't won, and also stopped him in the IW final, tying him for most wins there. Lets not forget about what he has done to Murray this year, he denied him in the AO final for the third time, ending it with a bagel. He then beat him back to back in IW and Miami, with Miami also ending in a bagel. Finally they play on the clay of RG, and he denies Murray yet again.

Stan is the only one who has managed to take anything from Djokovic...and it isn't one way traffic. Stan got him in RG, but Novak did get him at AO also.

We all know in overall greatness, he is still the third wheel. I am addressing the current state of affairs.

Be remembered that 2011 is the only time in his career Rafe came to 4 consecutive GS finals: FO11 to AO12.

If there's no Nole, he would have passed Roger now.

And just because he had to face a divine version of Nole, some people shorten his peak to 2010. LMAO.

Rafa's "peak" years were not consecutive (2005, 2008, 2010, 2013). He may have reached a lot of finals in 2011 but he won very few of them, which is why it cannot qualify as a peak year.
It is not just that Novak has won more W titles, it's also that he won 2 consecutive. It is a shame that Rafa could not play W in 2009. He may have won 3 in a row, who knows. Rafa's career- unlike Novak's- was plagued by injuries.
Post 2011, I can't even think of a way to compare the 2 on grass. The difference has been so extreme.
The only 2 active players who have defended a W title are Fed and Djoko. I think they will be remembered as the 2 best W players of their time. One thing in favor of Nadal though is that he's won 2 best of 3 events on grass (Fed has won a truckload). Djoko has never won anything on grass other than the slam.
Rafa's trajectory on grass is almost impossible to compare to anyone's, it is so peculiar: he literally went from- almost- a half dozen finals in a row to systematic crashing to low ranked players before 2nd week. That's a very drastic reversal of fortune. Compare that to Fed for instance. He may not win W anymore but he's still making finals. The way Nadal lost the plot on grass is nothing short of spectacular. It is not clear to me whether the cause is mostly physical, mental or strategic but it is quite unique and rather intriguing.
