Djokovic's backhand down the line

Why has this once-feared shot atrophied, like a chiseled bicep subjected to a strict chickpea diet, instead of chicken tenders and chargrilled beef?

Think back five years and Djokovic's backhand down the line was the first thing that popped into your mind when you thought of Djokovic. Since then, like his sliding, it has slowly worked its way out of the forefront of his game. Is it due to the lack of a dominant lefty on tour? The fact that his serve and forehand improved, leading him to set up points differently? Or has he simply lost some Serbian magic? What do you think?
