But Federer’s legacy is not secure
Federer’s legacy is perfectly secure
But Federer’s legacy is not secure
Sinner and Alcaraz got bailed by the 'refs', otherwise they probably would be out of the tournament.Djokovic got 2 walkovers before facing Sinner, so no, his legacy is not secure like that, Sinner has nothing to worry about.
Secondly, Djokovic has never beaten Alcaraz in a grand slam final and a 20 year old baby alcaraz beat Djokovic, sorry, Djoko does not get any marks over youngsters.
I simply don't take Fraud fans seriously when that guy lost 24 match points to Ned's 9 and Nole's 4. The reality is that GOATs in any sport simply can't be the supreme chokers that ole Rog was.Djokovic got 2 walkovers before facing Sinner, so no, his legacy is not secure like that, Sinner has nothing to worry about.

Oh man dude, Djoko could get first rounded for the next 2 years and I wouldn't care. The only thing I was personally insecure about was all of the media declaring Binner the new and improved successor to Nole and post-puke Jannik beating him badly for such a long stretch of matches. Both narratives destroyed with one incredible match.Threads like this suggest Novak's fanbase is less than secure...
he is invicible right nowNever beating " post-puke " Sinner would have been the only stain on his resume. Now he has significant wins over BOTH ATGs 14+ years younger than him.
That match was truly such a miracle every time I rewatch it. The more Sinner farms wins, the better it looks.
And currently I am watching basketball and NBA odds seem to be shifting and I am starting to worry about thigns that I should not worry and I am trying everything to win more
ExactlyImagine if they played prime Novak lol

he actually got price as best athlete for last season:And? He got lucky against Musetti, sure, but against Sinner nothing strange happened. It's like putting an asterisk in Sinner's victory against Alcaraz in Wimbledon because arguably he wouldn't have been there had Dimitrov not gotten injured. Different matches.
Alcaraz was in his 20s, Djokovic in his 30s, so Djokovic was not expected to win if tennis only matters in your 20s and not in your 30s. Djokovic has beaten Alcaraz at Slams, YEC, Olympics, and M1000, despite being much older. When he wins against Nadal and Federer it doesn't count because they are older, when he wins against Alcaraz, it doesn't count because he is younger, lol.
Alcaraz was not a baby when Djokovic beat him last year; he had the best year of his career and he was #1 and a slam winner as early as 2022. And both wanted that Olympic win as much as a slam, they said so themselves.

Yeah but he lost the tournament. So the win against Sinner didn't really matter so much. That was always the deal - he might be able to squeak off a win here or there against one of these guys on their off day, but he can't beat both of them.Never beating " post-puke " Sinner would have been the only stain on his resume. Here’s a translation of that post:Djokovic will be like Lendl. The forgotten ATG of his era, and its the exact same reason, too many big losses against his great rivals in big matches when all at their peaks. Lendl's stats were better than mcEnroe and Connors, but the bulk of those stats came post prime McEnroe and Connors. Early 80's he lost most of the Slam amtches against them. Djokovic is in that same boat.
Salt salt salt salt salt. Salt salt SALT salt salt salt, salt salt salt salt salt salt, salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt. Salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt, salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt Salt salt Salt. Salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt salt. Salt salt salt salt salt salt.
Getting 2 matches gap in between matches to help the old man is certainly very odd, with that gap a lot of people can win. Do you remember 38 year old Federer thrashing Djokovic 6-4, 6-3 at the ATP tour finals in 2019 ? That was again because it is BO3 and Djoko better SInner in a BO5 again because of the 2 match walkovers and massive rest which he got.... such wins are good but you cannot take them to be an anomaly..
BO3, does not matter
Real men only care about BO5, the BO3 is for ladies tbh, we might as well join WTA if want someone to judge us on BO3

and he claims to be a Novak fanlol how shamelessly you jump on that canard of money/fame copying Razer. That was never even on your mind before he brought it up but now you see it as a welcomed reasoning to undermine Djokovic.
you are the first one badmouthing djokovic under every single appreciation thread about him. You thinking Djoko is not the GOAT is totally fine (at least for me) but I do not understand why you keep diminishing his career. You can see how hard the Nolefam is at work because the 11-7 bothers me so much . Why cannot they be in peace that Novak has the slam record and just let other folks enjoy the success of their idol?
I absolutely dislike Sinner (as do most Djoko fans from what I see) but it's just a fact that the more he wins the better this semifinal looks on Nole's legacy ledgerDjokonauts well and truly on the Sinnerwagon. You love to see it.
Exactly, and this viewpoint being an actual outlook is fun to observe. It's as if the actual match wasn't enough; it needs a retroactive boost from something that has no actual bearing on that match. It conforms to the stereotype of fans looking for these sorts of by-proxy benefits.I absolutely dislike Sinner (as do most Djoko fans from what I see) but it's just a fact that the more he wins the better this semifinal looks on Nole's legacy ledger
Like Alcaraz is doing now?Lendl is forgotten because the level of tennis was raised a lot with Pete Sampras dominating tennis.
Yes you are salty as are all Novak fansHere’s a translation of that post:
Not very good for your health.
Nope. Meaningless match as Djokovic didnt win the title. RG2022 QF was meaningful for example as Nadal went on to win the event. Djokovic not beat an ATG to win a slam since 2019I simply don't take Fraud fans seriously when that guy lost 24 match points to Ned's 9 and Nole's 4.
