Do any tennis shoes actually fit your feet perfectly?

Do you feel your tennis shoe fits exactly around your foot?

I like a shoe that fits perfectly with my foot, many of my running shoes are like that. My tennis sheos don't though, I have Nike Breathe Cage 1. They are still pretty comfortable though. The closest shoes I have had to fitting my foot are Nike Air Max Breathe Free 2. Do your tennis shoes fit your feet perfectly?

I voted yes, because that shoe for me is the Wilson Open I after a little bit of break-in. I don't use that shoe anymore because of the very poor durability and they're being discontinued. I currently use the Trance All Courts. Not a perfect fit, but not bad either.

I order a half size small and then the shoe morphs around my foot like a slipper. :) painful to break in but afterwards there is nothing better.

Note: I can only do this with certain shoes namely Feather's

I voted yes, the Adidas Feather III fits my feet like a glove and I have very small feet for a guy.

But another patir of sneakers that were the best were the Nike Vapor I or II (not sure), Maria Sharapova is the only one that still wears them among the men or women.

I've worn Nike (Oscillates, Vapor 3,4,5) and Asics (Gel Challenger) and all have fit me with no problems whatsoever. I always get a half size up from my normal size to compensate for the three layers of socks I wear.

barricades, they feel so good, you have to start them whith thick socks but after a week they are perfect, but mine are loosing tread so fast:(

the closest i have ever been were my city courts by nike. they were the most comfortable shoe i have ever worn. a tad too big though, so not perfect. i now wear barricades that have great durability, but are the most comfortable. i think i will try to find a more knee/back friendly shoe for my next pair.

Diadora speed pros. Didn't end up buying them because of the lack of the 6 month warranty. I swear, if every diadora shoe fits my foot like that one did, and they ever came out with a durability-guaranteed shoe, I would be sold for life.

EDIT: ehh, looks like it won't happen, they don't sell Diadora tennis shoes in my size since my feet have grown :/

1 no show and 2 crews over them. Mainly do this for comfort and it's helped in reducing blisters.

You'd think if the shoes fit your perfectly, you wouldn't need to wear so many socks to reduce blisters.

I've never found tennis shoes that fit my feet perfectly. I'm wearing Asic Gel Resolutions now and they pinch my little toe but are otherwise comfortable. Luckily, my feet never seem to blister as long as the shoe isn't so big that I'm sliding around in it.

My shoes fit like 90% of my foot, maybe a little more.
That is good enough for me and it is relatively comfortable.

This is the best strategy - probably not great for the feet though.

The answer is 'no' - only pros who get molds made of their feet get a perfect fit.

City courts are the unsung heroes of the Nike shoe line. I buy the top end shoes (on e B a y) for around town and used to wear City Courts to play in.

Barricade II's

This has been my experience too. Right out of the box, no break-in needed. My only complaint is that the arches get too flat too quickly (in a few weeks) and I end up using arch supports until the tread or cushioning goes out.

Yep Diadora speed pro's fo me. before that Zoom breathe free's were close. Cout motion international close, and the oscillates.

But speed pros FTW on my foot.

The Barricade IV's were too bulky and wide on me, so I wore ankle braces to make my feet stop moving around. The V's fit way better but it's still kinda loose.

Prince T9 Roadsters fit great out of the box. I'm using the MV4 now, just to try, but I'll probably switch back for the clay court season...unless I get to try the OV1 before then (don't know when it's coming out).
