Do clay shoes wear out quicker on hard courts?

I have a spare pair Yonex Power Cushion Eclipsion clay shoes and I want to know if playing on hard court will destroy the sole? Currently, I'm playing with the Ubersonic 2's but the sole has completely worn away after 3/4 months of play. Should I invest in All court/hardcourt shoes or just play with the Yonex's?

Don't wear clay shoes on hard, they don't have as much rubber on the bottom and will wear away.

The space for the clay to go is filled with rubber on hard court shoes.

If you won't ever play on clay then just use them up.

Ok thanks. I figure if the Ubersonic's 2's didn't last, then the Yonex's might have the same shelf life on hard. Do you know if they use the same rubber?

I don't know. I don't really like hard court Ubers because the sole wears away and you see cord coming out right away, but the clay soles are awesome.
