Do Nike Vapor 9.5s have a break in?

I just bought a pair of Vapor 9.5 black hyper punch at a nike outlet but they fit a bit small. They were size 9.5 and I usually wear 9 to 10 but these shoes felt narrow and my small toe feels like its getting crushed. I just got them anyways because they were on sale at an outlet for just $75 and it was the last pair and I thought that it may feel better over time. Do any vapor 9.5 owners know if their shoes needed some break in?

yeah. For me the toebox opens up a lot after playing in them for a little while. They should feel fine in a little

You found black/hyper punch at the outlet already?

Yea I got really lucky and I couldn't believe it when I found them because my outlet store sucks and never has any tennis stuff. The staff said someone paid full price and then returned them so it got sent to the outlet to sell at a lower price. They don't normally carry it but it, it was just a special circumstance

Nice! Enjoy the shoes, they will feel good after time.

Shoes in general need to be broken in. In your case, the shoe may be too narrow for your foot. I hope for you that is not the case.

I never had a break-in period for my 9.5's. Either that or the out-of-the-box comfort is just much better than the Air Max Cages. The Cages killed my foot when I first wore them.

I found vapors to run quite small because size 9 courtballistecs seem to fit fine but size 9.5 vapors feel small. The length of the vapors seem okay but they feel narrow

For me, no break-in with Vapor 9.5. I mean, they do loosen up after a few sets, but no issue with undue wear and tear on my feet.

For me (while they require no break in per say), they open up (support wise) too much after a couple of weeks, even on clay.

Do they open up in the toe area? Thats mostly the problem for mine. Also does anyone know if I could go to some store that has them and just do a exchange with no receipt?

ya i dont think anyone at my outlet even knows what tennis is

Alright, I've been wearing them at home for like a week now and they feel better. They're still snug on my feet but I think i'm going to keep wearing them until they feel good.
