Do rounder rackets not volley as well as oval rackets?

I volley much better with oval shape rackets (Wilson K90, Head Prestige Midsize, Ti.Radical MP) than with more rounder shape rackets (POG Mid/Oversize, AeroPro Drive, AeroStorm Tour, K-Pro Tour). The rounder rackets somehow are not as stable on volleys for me. Anyone else has the same issue?

Wouldn't that depend what your PROBLEM is when you volley? Some peeps pull away from the ball, hitting the top.
Other peeps chop sideways at the ball, needing more width in the racket.
Of pros, JimmyConnors volleyed OK with a round headed T2000.
Maybe it's the player, not the stick, that controls effectiveness on volleys.
