Do we know this (former) collector???

This was in the info section for a Yamaha racket for sale on that famous auction site:
“These racquets are from a large collection of racquet enthusiast with over 2,000 frames! Majority of them were in storage for many, many years.”
The seller seems to be located in Atlanta(where I was for ~27 years until 2008. Does anyone know who this might be??? Out of 5 million folks in the metro area, I guess I didn't know ALL the tennis folks!!!

Wow...I am at a loss to figure this one. Might be someone surprisingly unfamiliar to me OR...maybe someone I didn't know was a collector. I didn't really start until we got to Texas.
As I mentioned, I left there in '08 after 27 years.(And my Dunlop days were in the '80s !!!)

I picked up 3 Max 200Gs from the seller, including a rare Japanese Pro II model with original grip. It plays well. I don't think it is Tennis Menace because he didn't have a ton of Max 200Gs listed on his website.

There's also a seller in Japan who's acquired the 3 prototype Adidas 2010 rackets that never got released after they were shown off. They don't mention their unreleased status, but they're asking top dollar for them. Lots of neat finds out there right now.

Tennishaven is the menace. Has a variety of different names on various sites. I’be not been looking but there’s only so long a person can hold onto old stock items if they’re a business and not a collector. Eventually all the other collectors come to the same conclusions; people aren’t buying old stuff and demand is dwindling, you can’t take it with you, there’s no historical significance to a certain piece or pieces so it’s losing value, and it’s time to make room for new stuff.

I’ve also noticed that fewer players are using old racquets these days. The PS85 people have mostly gone the way of Roger. The Radical/Prestige models have become larger and are being replaced with the Speed/Gravity models. The POGs have been replaced with Phantoms too.

The Menace has a large stash of worthless garbage. He was demanding $50-100 per set of grommets and selling many and now he’s likely just selling one set here and there. Why do I know? I’d sell my grommet stash at high prices just under his and I haven’t sold any in a long, long time. It’s been at least a year for me since I cashed in $30 on a $5 investment.

I finally just sold as a lot what I had left and donated many racquets to whoever I could get them to.

I have seen the astounding/overwhelming collection in person. It's a gold mine of cool frames, many of them NOS. Marc is very fair to deal with - highly recommended.

I just assumed. There is said it! Yes! I know what it means to ass-u-me. It’s actually an assumption I’ve had for many years. There were many, many similarities over time for me to base my assumption. Looks like I’ve been wrong for a long time.

This is one of those moments where I’ve been singing a song in my car from the radio and using the wrong lyrics because I heard a word wrong and then, all of a sudden, I hear the correct word and it all makes so much more sense. It’s happened with some real classics too.
