Yep pretty much. The side length depends on your facial shape in terms of what you can pull off best. Since I knew my head shape and facial structure is well suited for short hair I get it pretty short on the sides. Draws more attention to the top. Never did get compliments about my all around short (buzzed) hair cuz it’s a boring and safe haircut. Have gotten tons about the one you just described though. Probably once a day if I style it a little.
don’t lazily buzz cut your whole head as long as you can grow hair. you will enjoy that plenty once you’re bald.

True, I used to have a flowy ondulating head full of hair, today I have to have a short haircut because I no longer have that kind of hair, I'm not bald but my hair is not what it used to be
It is a curse, well at least it is not what you might think it must be like. Not easy to understand unless you have experienced it.

You get paid more than you probably deserve, people are nicer to you. Even the Police favour you if you have had a car accident, people seem to think you couldn’t do anything wrong. but the attention can be unwanted.

You get really careful what you say to people in case you end up hurting them. You play a bit of tennis with someone and then they end up pouring their heart out to you in letters and flying out unannounced to see you.

You wonder at times what on earth everyone is thinking after you have been propositioned a few times in a short period.

You get good at noticing signs, little tells but you never really know what to say or do when someone looks you straight in the eye and tells you that they want you, when you have just sat down next to them at a party.

I think it means a lot of your conversations shy away from any real depth and you ring fence yourself a little.

You blame yourself and feel bad when someone is unable to help themselves and get you out of their mind even when you have never been anything more than just an acquaintance.

People must think you are always having a great time and could do whatever you wanted but the reality is quite different. You don’t go hitting on people when you have had so much experience of it, the need to step back feeling you have when you realise the reality of your relationship with someone is not what you thought it was. You get bought ridiculously expensive things which you can’t refuse, but which distort the relationship. That casual brush of a hand along the inside of your forearm, which someone couldn’t help themselves from making. The note left on your kitbag by someone who doesn’t have the courage to tell you something in person.

A few funny things are that if you go to the doctors feeling dreadful they just don’t believe it, they think you must be fine. And when people realise who your parents are, they look kind of surprised as if you must have been adopted.
