Do you have a personal stake in the way Djokovic is navigating old age?

I've never really liked Djokovic, but I'm paying closer attention to his career than I ever have, and I think that's because I'm getting older. I want him to succeed, because on some level it means I can stay healthy in my late 30s as well. It's weird: I'm a Fed fan but I feel more invested in Djokovic's old age success than I ever did in Fed's. Maybe it's because Djokovic is doing all of these extra things that are supposed to help. I don't know--anyone else feel this way?

A lot of people here don't even think about it from your angle (which is a perfectly fine reason for wishing for his success) but still act like they have a personal stake for no reason other than overzealous fandom...imagine that.

Honestly I don't think that way...yes Djokovic's story is inspiring, but body types are different and obviously as a world-class athlete his body is blessed with goods I can't ever dream to have, and his immense wealth means he has access to cutting-edge technology, the best nutritionists and physiotherapists etc.

I am probably more inspired by my Aunt Susan who started jogging, shed a few pounds and picked up a new hobby in old age than I am by Djokovic lol.
