Do you think some players exist in the "good looking bubble?"

I don't know if anyone here has seen 30-rock, but there is an episode where Jon Hamm players an incompetent yet extremely handsome man and gets away with everything due to how handsome he is. Do you feel like this is the case with a few players on the tour? I know Dimitrov for example has quite the fan base, and he is a decent player, but I feel like a lot of reasons why he is so hyped up is because he is one handsome mofo.

The best looking guy on the court is most definitely Matteo Berrettini and it’s not even close. I’ve always thought Dimitrov and Fuscovics are very easy on the eye. Of the retired players, Berdych comes to mind

it helps if you keep a low profile; tsitsipas is good looking (until he says something) and mostly reviled

kinda the same with zverev

Even Anderson is good looking compared to the general public.

And yes, the answer is yes. There is a thing called "attractiveness bias" where attractive people are viewed as more competent, trustworthy, etc.

I don't think Tsitsipas and Zverev are anywhere near the level of Dimitrov, Berrettini, Fognini or Fucsovics.
