Does anyone know what the longest 6-0 set is and also the longest 6-1 set is?

I was wondering this last night during the women's SF between Halep and Svitolina.

The first set was 6-1 but the first two games took over 20 minutes and the set actually went for 44 minutes despite the lopsided scoreline.

Quite remarkable when you consider that Tomic lost 3 sets (6-2 6-1 6-4) to Tsonga in 58 minutes and meanwhile a 6-1 set was 44 minutes!

So does anyone happen to know what the longest sets of tennis are that were 6-0 and also 6-1. Also would be interesting to know the longest 6-0 6-0 match!

It may not be the longest bagel set but you can look at this years rome bagel that nadal handed to djoker which was more than 40 mins if I remember correctly.

Best place to start is to look at the Goffin v Berdych match that went 6-0 6-0

What the hell!!!
6-2 6-4 in 14 minutes.
That's just impossible. It has to be a lie.

I remember Nadal vs Montanes 1st set of FO 07 (6-1) took about 55 or so minutes.

Actually, should be looking at Wilander, Vilas and the likes tbh. Their FO final was ridiculously long and it had bread-sticks.

Read some of this - https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/stats-for-1982-rg-final-wilander-vilas.196640/

I mean, come on...
I'm sure most will ignore this post, but yeah it's really not even close, the 80s had interminable rallies compared to today. 87 USO final was 4 sets, almost 5 hours long and had a 6-0 set. Lendl beat Nystrom at 87 RG 26, 61, 57, 60, 62. They had some rallies get up to 100 shots...and people here think Nadal is a grinder.

A better question might be what 60 or 61 set had the most points. At 84 AO sukova beat Martina 16, 63, 75. The 6-1 set had the most points.

I don't know about the longest bagel or breadstick set, but the longest tie break was 1 hour and 47 minutes. 13-11 in the epic Vicky Nelson vs Jean Hepner clash of 1984. The highlight was a 29 minute rally which had the crowd on the edge of their seats.
