He’s playing incredibly well but he has to face 2 likely all time greats at the peak of their career. It is a big ask but if he keeps playing as he is then he has a punchers chance.
what you think about maarin and cobolli match, who has an adv in their matchup hmmThat's the main issue. He can certainly beat one of them the way he's playing.
Problem is he will likely have to do it back to back.
Maybe Dimi or Shelton can take out the Ginger boy (or atleast soften him up), we'll see.
Sinner will not lose 3 times in a row against Djokovic at Wimbledon.I picked Djoker to win this tourney before it started and I am sticking with that pick. He’s been quite impressive so far. This is definitely his best surface now. He is locked in and is playing at his 2023 level now. Only a zoning Alcaraz can take out a red-hot Djoker. But so far, I have not been impressed with Carlitos. I see Djoker facing Alcaraz in the final with Djoker winning in 5 sets to avenge his paper-thin loss in 2023.
Nobody beats Djoker 3 times in a row at Wimbledon.

pheasant continuing to place on him again and again, first ao then rg, lets see might be this time luck will be on his sideSinner will not lose 3 times in a row against Djokovic at Wimbledon.
Sorry to tell you, mate.

Unfortunately I still don’t see it. I think sinner/alcaraz are too good for him at this point. I’m still really impressed though how well Djokovic is still playing. He can potentially make the semis and then he on house money as he the big underdog.
He has a chance if he keeps this level. He playing similar to what Fed did in 2019.Joker is playing great tennis , moving well, serving well. He can beat Carlos if Carlos isn’t fresh or have mental walk abouts, his main problem can be Sinner but Joker can exploit Sinner’s movement with change in direction .
Already preparing your coping if Sinner loses?Joker is playing great tennis , moving well, serving well. He can beat Carlos if Carlos isn’t fresh or have mental walk abouts, his main problem can be Sinner but Joker can exploit Sinner’s movement with change in direction .
Haha I like some banters but man Sinner is having one of the best season (in terms of winning percentage) should have won RG with ease ( without total choke Job) , don’t worry he will beat Joker easily , he owns old man.Already preparing your coping if Sinner loses?![]()
Don’t worry they won’t let you down. If they do please don’t crap on them sirIf Sinneraz allow it to happen, it will answer several questions![]()
I agree Sinneraz in their prime shouldn’t allow this Joker to beat them back to back , imo he shouldn’t beat even one at this age if they’re in prime and truly that great. Can excuse AO for Carlos since he hasn’t entered his Hc prime yet but here no way it can be excused. If Sinneraz allow it to happen, it will answer several questions![]()
I agree but if we honest Djokovic shouldn’t even be getting to the semis at this point. However, I will take anything he can do and even deep runs are impressive after everything he done in the sport.I agree Sinneraz in their prime shouldn’t allow this Joker to beat them back to back , imo he shouldn’t beat even one at this age if they’re in prime and truly that great. Good analysis bro!I’ll be neutral here since I don’t have any agenda so I’ll look at both perspective
1- Joker is 38 doesn’t mean he is your regular 38 who moves like snail, he’s still an elite mover and is playing great tennis whenever he’s focused
2- Mike got a point that Djoker is still quite behind his prime ( albeit not as far off as Fed fans think ) , they should beat him in their prime if they’re truly that great.
Exactly.I agree Sinneraz in their prime shouldn’t allow this Joker to beat them back to back , imo he shouldn’t beat even one at this age if they’re in prime and truly that great. Can excuse AO for Carlos since he hasn’t entered his Hc prime yet but here no way it can be excused.
Peak sinneraz that’s whyIf Federer was almost able to pull it off in 2019, why couldn't Djokovic do it in 2025? Same age.
Peak sinneraz that’s why
Better than Djokovic and Nadal in 2019?Peak sinneraz that’s why
Nadal didn't play a great semifinal, and Djokovic was in "zombie" mode for much of his match against Federer.Better than Djokovic and Nadal in 2019?
Yes in my opinion. Nadal didn’t play great in SF and Djoko wasn’t great in final against Fed. Fed choked the final away to be fair.Better than Djokovic and Nadal in 2019?
I have a feeling that lolbev can beat Carlos today
Fedrer skill was far more superior than Novak. And Fedrer played players only 6 year younger than him and Novak has to play players 14 15 years younger than him .If Federer was almost able to pull it off in 2019, why couldn't Djokovic do it in 2025? Same age.
I wouldn’t say his skills are far superior. I’d just say sinneraz at their peaks will be a tougher challenge than djokodal were in 2019.Fedrer skill was far more superior than Novak. And Fedrer played players only 6 year younger than him and Novak has to play players 14 15 years younger than him .
Age gap is huge . Novak reaching semi final will be one great acheivement .
I wouldn’t say his skills are far superior. I’d just say sinneraz at their peaks will be a tougher challenge than djokodal were in 2019.
Exactly. Don’t get me wrong Federer was so talented and fantastic player but his skill level wasn’t massively better than djokodal. If it was then no way do djokodal overtake his slam count and many other records.Ttw users are deluded , how his skills are superior? Does skill doesn’t include BH which Novak had best in the business or doesn’t include elite movement at 36??? Or doesn’t it include better baseline sense and point construction? Or skill is just some fancy vollies and touch which are almost useless in modern baseline era?
His skill level isn’t superior than Novak especially gap in their Bh ( for modern baseline play) also the way Novak change direction to construct point is a highly skilled thing. Novak have an elite FH and it’s not a weakness in same sense Fed’s bh is a weakness.Exactly. Don’t get me wrong Federer was so talented and fantastic player but his skill level wasn’t massively better than djokodal. If it was then no way do djokodal overtake his slam count and many other records.
The difference is the competition. To be fair djokodal was still tough for Fed. However, for me sinneraz at their peaks will be another level up. They all need to get there first and see how it plays out.
Do you see Sinner even taking a set from him? He has not beat both Sinneraz back to back in a slam match. He beat Sinner in a close match at 2023 Wim just before losing to Carlos. Then he beat Carlos at AO this year in a very tough physical match which destroyed his body. Now, if he struggled against Cilic in their hypothetical match it COULD become a disaster for him for SF and F matches. But even then he is Djokovic and no one can write him off unless he is retired! As Agassi said, everybody loses 20% of foot speed on grass, except for Alcaraz.
Djokovic's biggest strength is retrieving ability, and he loses that vs. Alcaraz on grass!
Alcaraz in 3.
Its unlucky for Djokovic that his best surface vs. the field overall, is the surface Alcaraz is best at...
Djokovic will be lucky to win ONE set vs. Alcaraz, but he should beat Sinner.
Setting up excuses for the loss. He’s playing incredibly well but he has to face 2 likely all time greats at the peak of their career. It is a big ask but if he keeps playing as he is then he has a punchers chance.
Possum incomingWearing a knee Brace now in practice…
No excuses. They are better tennis players than Djokovic now so they favourites to win. I won’t use age excuse if he loses. If he loses he just loses to the better player and the game has moved on.Setting up excuses for the loss. It’s unnecessary. Egg is 38. He’s supposed to lose to higher ranked ages 22 and 23. However, neither is at their peak. Both are getting better.
That would be his best hope. I don’t see an upset for sinner or alcaraz though. That's the main issue. He can certainly beat one of them the way he's playing.
Problem is he will likely have to do it back to back.
Maybe Dimi or Shelton can take out the Ginger boy (or atleast soften him up), we'll see.
It reminded me of his match against Rublev at 2023 AO I guess(am not sure of the year) where his serve, movement, return, FH, BH, net play were 10 out of 10. I guess that was the match that even let cords and luck were on his side which was so funny in a wayAbsolutely. Dont think Cilic can beat Djokovic while Novak is playing like this. Novak’s level in the match against Captain Mimo reminded me of the gunslinging he was doing against Alcaraz at AO. He is goong for so much and not really making any errors. It’s impressive.
Its really phenomenal what he is doing here. Honestly if he beats Sinner and even gets close to Alcaraz that is a feat in and of itself given his age and the fact that 12 months ago he had quite a serious knee injury. Actually beating both these ATG contenders and winning the tournament, like @Pheasant said would shake tennis to its foundations. It would be one of the great singular age-related achievements. If he beats sinner in 5 that will probably mean he’s out of a bit of gas for the final. Especially if he ends up playing alcaraz the fittest guy on your right now.
I said before the tournament if he has to beat both sinner and alcaraz in a row it too much at this point. Novak is playing really well but even so it won’t be enough to beat the 2 best players in the world back to back.
I think at one point he had sonething like a 6:1 winner to unforced error ratioIt reminded me of his match against Rublev at 2023 AO I guess(am not sure of the year) where his serve, movement, return, FH, BH, net play were 10 out of 10. If he did do it, it would shake the tennis world. I agree. I’d be stunned just like nearly everyone else. He did some unbelievable things in his career but this might top it all. As you said even if he’s competitive against sinner or beats sinner and is competitive against raz that is a great effort in itself. Its really phenomenal what he is doing here. Honestly if he beats Sinner and even gets close to Alcaraz that is a feat in and of itself given his age and the fact that 12 months ago he had quite a serious knee injury. NO EXCUSES!No excuses. They are better tennis players than Djokovic now so they favourites to win. I won’t use age excuse if he loses. If he loses he just loses to the better player and the game has moved on.
They in prime then if you don’t think they at their peak. That’s cool![]()
I think at one point he had sonething like a 6:1 winner to unforced error ratioVery hard to beat someone zoning to that degree. Very scary stuff.
He’s not normal in general. Few can change the molecular structure of water with their mind.…
I’m just so happy he’s still playing this well. It beyond what I thought was possible but he’s not a normal tennis player.
You are entitled to your opinion! He’s not normal in general. Few can change the molecular structure of water with their mind.

Djokovic backs idea of turning "polluted water into the most healing"
"The people of Flint, Michigan would love to hear that news," Mary Carillo said after hearing the Serbian's claim that "molecules in the water react to our emotions to what has been said."www.tennis.com
That is true. Sinneraz are remarkable too. Tennis is in good handsNO EXCUSES!Either way pretty remarkable level for Egg at 38. It would amazing if he wins.
Your odds make sense to me. I’d have sinner slightly above Djokovic though. As I favourite sinner in the SF if Djokovic and sinner meet.@Djokovic_is_the_best#1 I edited Alcaraz to 40, because he only has to face one of Djokovic/Sinner so his odds should be higher
It's gonna be epic, #25 incoming
Think only Sinneraz can save you here.
Novak looks like he's on a mission this Wimbledon. Never seen a tennis player move that well at 38, dude's indestructible.
