What im trying to say is does it mess up your game because you paint the strings. And does it feel different? or the same haha

Never noticed but then again I've only had the babolat lines which do not come into contact with the ball much but when I did on an off-center hit the only difference was that the ball got marked up.

I've heard from a tennis shop pro that having the logo paint on your strings will play the same, but it will dry out your strings quicker as well.

On the other hand, Pete Sampras used to ensure the exact amount of paint was used because he claimed he could feel the extra gram or so of weight if too much paint was applied.

The paint just rubs off after a match or two, so who cares, you know? It just marks up the balls and looks terrible once it's halfway gone...

Not really.

The stringer I take my racquets to always stencils them. I don't know why, but I wish he wouldn't. It's a waste. The paint comes off in no time.

Lately I've been asking for no paint on the strings, but if I found a really cool stencil that wasn't a boring brand logo, I would definitely paint it. =P

If you are good enough to tell the difference, you are going to have to have one on your racquet for your sponsor :)

Um... even though it's Sampras, I don't know if I buy that...

It helps me determine where the ball is meeting the string bed the most. When someone brings the frame back it helps me if they have a issue with their game.

I don't play with a logo. I prefer not to. Unless you are sponsored or have a preferred player package with a company.
Otherwise in my opinion,
1) you are free advertisement for the company and you do not get anything out of it
2) it is really a waste of money in my opinion to buy stencil ink...

the only thing that changes is that when u have red stencil ink...the balls looks bloody once ur done and they dont seem to last as long but the strings play the same
