Does Head pallet fit on Yonex handle?

I'm going to receive a Yonex pro stock DR 100, which I think is the Ai100 model in DR paint Job, but the grip is smaller. I never try to shave and replace Yonex handle, so anyone had exp with this can share informations?

I shave Wilson pallet before and Head pallet fit on that and I accepted that (H22 with TK82s pallet, H25 with TK57 pallet).

You will have to check yourself. When you get it take off the buttcap trapdoor and measure the visible hairpins dimensions. Head pallets have a gap inside them of approx 17.5mm by 25.5mm. Even if the hairpin is no bigger than that you have to check the dimensions at the top of the molded handle as well, since lots of graphite hairpins get wider up there. I use a hacksaw blade to very slowly cut through the foam handle just down to the graphite on both sides, so you can see how wide the graphite is up there. But def check this first, before you start shaving! Or it will be useless unless you pay the money to send it to someone to remold a handle.

Im notsure but i think the Wilson H19, H22 and H25 are made to fit Head pallets for the pros who want them. Would be surprised if you can do it to any of their retail racquets apart from the UT.

I think Yonex hairpin dont fit. Using search here, many threads unsolved this situation, only order 3D printing pallet.

In my location, it really take times to order some and the price is high now.

Unstrung Customs sells pallets that will fit Yonex hairpins I believe.

Yep they sure do, for those that really love a frame but can't adopt to that brand's shape these guys are the best solution. Expensive for now, yes, but worth it for the right holy grail

Remember that Yonex grips are on the larger size.. like 0.5 to one full size higher than Head for the same size... Mine are L2 and feel like a Head or Wilson L3 for instance..
