Does Nadal move better on Slicker Hard Courts?

I think that is the difference. Nadal's movement is great on clay and almost as good on a slicker hardcourt. The gritty hardcourts make it hard to slide. So when he is forced to run hard, he can't quite get there on a gritty hardcourt.
