Does Nat Gut lose tension? Replace when frayed ?

With my new machine, I can restring in 40 minutes, so it's not a big deal.
Once I settle on a new racket, I'll get two. Still using the POG 93, which is a big disadvantage.
When I pop the string, I use an old Pure Drive Poly to finish out the session.
It's nuts how much more pace my balls have with the PD Poly

Can you play Gut/Poly in your PD?

Playing any Poly in a PD may be classified as stupid at this point.
Why risk TE?

Also, Gut+PD might be way too much power.
I am swinging pretty hard these days.

I'll probably get a medium flex racket like Blade or Prince Tour.
Or I'll try Clash. Just haven't bothered yet.

Since I am moving to Gut strings with more power,
I need a less powerful racket, so PD is retired.

Just up the tension 5-6lbs with the gut in the mains. 53lbs full poly in a PD? go 59-60/53 lbs in a gut poly hybrid.
