Does this stat surprise you?

It doesn't surprise me that he is the top guy in this regard; however, it really surprises me how far ahead he is of everyone. The popular narrative is that Djokovic is the "most clutch" player going around Federer is brittle and prone to capitulating under pressure but this is surely a significant element in any measure of "clutchness." I wonder where Sampras would lie in this kind of metric.

This is an interesting line for me, "Federer’s ability to not beat himself is a major key to his success." Although, Federer has had his fair share of defeats everyone comes to a Fed match with their game face on, (like they're playing a final even if it's in an early round) or else they know they're done like a dinner. Djokovic for instance always plays at an incredible level in Fed matches whereas he's more than capable of phoning it in for lesser guys. I really have to struggle to think of a time when Federer just came on the court and stunk it up and gifted the match to the other player. Maybe never??? Is that possible?

He would be low, took chances on the 2nd serve that won him most of the pts, but kills him in this kind of stat. Then again im not sure he faced alot of break points, good question.

Shank? A weakness now? There is a thing called age. It slows down a person. It affects his reflexes, his agility, his hand eye coordination.....I can write few pages here actually.
We are all seeing NadsyPants where he is. I cannot wait to see Possum after couple of years or so. I will bang this thread alive then.
