Does your bag match your racquets?

just curious if anyone or most of you or none of you...carry racquets in a bag other than that of the racquet manufacturer. In other words, do you carry Wilson sticks in a Babolat bag ? or do you have to carry Wilson racquets in a Wilson bag?

I personally like to match. Just feel more together.

Yup, Babolat frames and Bag. I just think they make really great stuff. I used to have a Wilson that got too old and small and decided to match.

I have wilson racquets and a wilson bag but its just a coincidence, I bought the bag when I was playing with babolats.

I use the dunlop 9-pack (black & silver) , I got such a great deal on it 27.00 for it and the quality is the best I've ever owned. I really like it. big big room for stuff like balls, clothes and water I always take at least giant bottles of evian water. I look for a deal when I buy a bag and quality has got to run in tandem with the "deal" and I got lucky with this bag. I lve the backpack straps. best inovation thought up by the racket co. that make bags now. I also like the insulated feature.

I buy the best racquets for me and then I buy the best bag for me. They never seem to match. No big deal. I get the best of both worlds. :)

Babolat racquet, Yonex Bag. Used to have a Yonex racquet, when I changed to Babolat I just kept using the 3 racquet Yonex bag.

Mine match in that I got a great deal on both. They are however, not the same manufacturer, much less the same color scheme.

Yes, I used to be really OCD about this... so when I switched racquets I had to buy a new bag... unfortunately since I commute to work/school I don't take my huge babolat bag, and since wilson makes the largest tennis backpack (to fit laptop books, shoes and 2 sticks) they no longer match. It drives me crazy a little bit everyday.

Mine match, all Dunlop - but I don't really care. The only reason they match is that TFM1973 threw the 6-pack bag in when I bought a couple frames from him. Otherwise, I would probably still be using my 15 year old Prince 3-pack bag - with a separate tote for clothes/accessories.

Nope. TW bag, and misc racquets. When I get another bag, it'll meet only a few requirements, none of which is to be the same name as my racquets.

I use a Head Tour Team combi to hold my Head rackets.. Talking about being OCD, I nearly bought the Head Prestige shoe to match the bag and wanted to get a whole range of apparel from Head to match the racket and bag... Alas, their apparel range doesn't quite appeal to me... Well at least my clothes, cap and shoes match...

I would probabaly drive you label-wh*res nuts. I'll wear Adidas socks, with Nike shorts, UA top, and Fila wrist bands, while toting my Dunlop and Head racquets around in my TW bag. Granted the colors pretty much compliment each other, I don't care what the tag says.

Mine match, predominantly Dunlop frames and a Dunlop bag. Don't want to talk about it anymore, I think it's proving I'm a little OCD...

The age old question...hum...if I remember correctly, there was a same thread a few months ago.

But, I do not care for the same of everything, so my racquets and bags do not match...

adidas bag, racquets, shoes, socks, clothes, cap, undies, anti-perspirant, after shave...I never have to worry about things matching. (My sanity is something I might want to give some thought to, but my brands matching? Nope. Got it covered.)

Did you stock up on Adidas tennis balls back in the days?
I didn't, sadly. I still have one brand new can floating around somewhere, unopened, but that's it. I have some great adidas watches and sunglasses, though, not to mention footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, frisbees, water bottles, bandanas, candy (!)...the disease has consumed me. :)

When it comes to racquets, bags and such...I have to match. I just bought some PDR's and had to buy a Babolat bag. I also had to buy Bab dampeners. Im not about to put a "W" dampener on a Bab racquet. Shoes, shirts, wristbands dont matter. But sticks and bag do.

Racquets and bag match - Dunlop. But I used to carry a Fischer bag with assorted racquets, so I'm not too OCD.

Yes, I know...arrrrrrgh! I saw these when they put out the initial ads for the new racquets. I must have them!!!

Those aren't the ones I have/had in the past. The ones I'm thinking of are in clear blue cans.

I didn't have very good memories of them. They tend to worn out rather fast, so I remember I used to buy tons of them...they were unique, hence, I liked them...

Kind of.. I had 12 Tecnifibre 325's and a TF 12 pack, but I have a ton of other rackets. At least 3 sticks per other brands from Head, Vantage, Wilson, Prince, Volkl, Donnay, Dunlop and Spalding... but no bags for them.

Yeah, I have one new can of the ones in the blue sleeve. And they are, of course, number 3s... :) But I'm honestly not sure I ever played with any. The shop I went to in LA didn't stock them for long, so I never got to really try them out; I just bought the one can for giggles.
