oh c'mon, Order...chill out! Nadal wins, a young man gets a chance to play him and make it competitive. What's not to like?

That fact that a guy who calls himself "tennis pro" says Nadal did absolutely nothing to win.

He couldn't beat Kamke in his wildest dreams and decides to put Nadal's performance down and you want me to like that?

LOL are you still hungover?

If I had a "brand name" I wouldn't have to do anything at all other than wait for Kamke to explode. Seen it too many times.

Well you don't have a brand name and do you know why? Because you're not good enough tennis_amateur.

Nadal has earnt his "brand name" mostly through sending your idol packing.

Well looking how Federer struggled with his back Nadal wouldn't even go out on court if he was injured, poor **** would be too afWaid to lose.

LOL Fed was stoked to play Rafa after Rafa's epic SF against Verdasco.

Little did he realise Rafa owns him and did so yet again. lmfao.

Why the cheap shots, son? If you wanna play it that way I would own you in a tennis match and that's all that matters:oops:

Just a friendly FYI.

Sure thing. I wonder what the result would be if Federer was 23 and Nadal 28 instead of the other way round.

Well Fed wasn't 28, in fact he was only about a month or 2 older than Nadal was when he won the 2013 US Open.

And a 22.5 month old Federer would not beat Nadal in that form are you kidding me? LMFAO.

It's useful for Rafa to play long matches against that kind of players like Kamke. It's the end result that matters.

Entertaining match. I thought both guys played pretty well. Nadal looked much better than yesterday, but obviously there is still a bit of rust to dust off.

Even though Kamke played aggressive he didn't ballbash like Rosol and hence we saw a lot of good rallies with both guys hitting winners. Nadal hiting 33 winners compared to Kamke's 29.

Nadal's BP conversion was nearly Fed-like today though 3/12, but Kamke also did well to fend them off, apart from those 3 at 4-4 in the second set where Nadal made 3 consecutive errors which was a moment he could have seen off Kamke. It went to 3 though, but with Nadal's knees allegedly feeling better, I think it was good to get in some more time on court ahead of AO.

Unless you're a solid college player (or better) you're not doing anything, son.

Don't worry, I'm a pretty solid player. I'm also a lefty and was born on June 3rd. Nowhere near Nadal's level needless to say, but quite confident I'd send you packing.

Well if Federer took 8 months off he would be as fresh and hungry as Nadal, bo big deal.

And a 22.5 month old Federer would not beat Nadal in that form are you kidding me? LMFAO.

A 22,5 year old Federer = Federer at the 2004 AO where he beat Hewitt, Nalbandian, Ferrero and Safin in succession. Keep trollin, bro.

Oh really? I'm not doing you a favor by trolling a troll. Well boo hoo, let's get the violins out then.

Honestly, you're not doing anyone any favors either by trying to defend a clown who said Nadal did nothing to win against Kamke today.

You bring up a good point. I remember watching a match with Fed against a lower-ranked player, and Fed was clearly using that match to practice his drop shots. Almost every fifth shot or sixth shot, Fed was hitting droppers...it was amusing to see! He made some, lost some...but in the end, he won the match and went on to use those same droppers against Nadal later in the tournament.

Hahaha, oh noes. Anything but a lefty born June 3rd, haha. Gooby, please. As I said, unless you played some tournaments on college level you're not doing anything.

I don't see a player of Nadal's calibre listed there, not to mention Safin was completely done before that final.

Beating them means NOTHING when it comes to facing an in form Nadal. That's Federer's worst nightmare on a tennis court.

LOL...you're clearly a crazy kid! We've gotta have at least a few like you to kick around here. :)

Alright, I'm moving on. Have a great day, guys!

Oh noes I'm so scared of you. May I ask how the hell we are supposed to even play each other? You live in Germany right? There's no way in HELL I'm flying over there just to play tennis with you.

Useless discussion. I'm going to sleep, hope you enjoyed another game, set and match to Rafa

I'm not trying to scare you. Just saying as it is. If you're a 5.0 or better I submit. Pretty sure that you aren't so there you go.

Oh I enjoyed Nadal's 2,5 hour workout. Expect another tomorrow against Gulbis, maybe Gulbis will have more balls not to double fault in the most crucial moments.

Whatever, I'm sure Nadal would beat prime Hewitt (he actually got straight setted in the round before by him), Nalbandian (ends here), Ferrero and Safin in succession on a medium paced hard court.

How is this guy ranked 74 in the world?

This is the exact reason why. Go for broke and pray it all goes in. Great aggressive players mixes their aggressive game with finess and subtelty. On the one side you have people like Sampras, Federer, Becker etc vs Gulbis, Rosol and Kamke...

There was a lot of famous footballers in the stands during Rafa's match. Rafa has good relationships with many famous footballers, he is a huge football fan.

And the president of the Qatar tennis federation H.E. Nasser Ghanim Al-Khelaifi is also the president of Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain.

Give up on the Tennis Channel, the channel with lots of old reruns and matches few care about except parents and friends...

Some folks on this site tipped us off to another TV channel that's carrying the entire Qatar tournament. See if you can get access to it (it's free with a lot of different cable providers):
