With #1 Djokovic and #2 Nadal crashing out early, Berdych and Ferrer will meet in the final of the Qatar Open. Berdych has had an easy route to the finals, winning all four of his matches in straight sets. He lost 4 games in a set only once so he has been dominant in his matches. Ferrer lost the opening set in the 1st round and then had to battle Karlovic through three tiebreakers to finally make it. Theis head to head record is 7-5 in Ferrer's favor. Berdych won their last meeting which was in the Australian Open quarterfinals a year ago.

So...who will win?

I want David to win so hard, but i am afraid it's gonna be too tough.
There was a time Berdych was a good match up for him but not so much anymore + that marathon match against Karlovic... Berdych is likely to win
 
Hard to really bet against Berdych, he hasnt been overly tested but he seems like a new man and i think he'll do this in straight sets.

We could be seing a slam-threatening Berdych this year, prehaps he feels this is the last year he could get one with the Big 4 slowly fading and the new generation rising fast?
 
Nobody strips your game down as much as Ferrer. It's all gonna come down to how many unforced errors Berdych will make, and how well Ferrer will defend, because so far Tomáš hasn't hesitated to be agressive. What worries me is that Ferrer is playing Auckland next week. Don't know if it's a smart move to play as much before the AO. I mean, it's good for practice, but not good for Physique.

Are you kidding me? This is like a mini-Fedal match, with the contrasting styles. Don't understand how you can find this a boring match-up. Go watch some more Federer highlights if that's the only person you can watch.
 
Well Berdych was a bit unlucky on that set point. But that's what Ferrer does to you: forcing you to hit one extra ball.

Sometimes it can be frustrating
