I have been through quite an interesting racquet journey. Basically I've been playing with the same racquet and just kept changing the string pattern. My journey started with the Donnay pro one 18x20 and now I have switched to the Vortex tour 100 at 14x17. The differences are astounding . All four of these sticks are basically the same except that the string patterns are different.

Conclusion
My favorite of these four was the Vortex tour 100. I could not believe how much a difference the string pattern makes....especially between the Donnay 18x20 and 16x19 models. They were like two completely different sticks.
The more open the pattern became the more I enjoyed the sticks. With the open pattern you do lose a bit of slice.....but not that much.
I also must say that I have always preferred a 100 inch stick or a 98. The 95 inch Vortex was just a tad small for me but I still shockingly liked it better than both Donnays.
Bottom line if you like the Donnay Pro one you will love these Vortex sticks. It's like a Donnay on steroids.
