For me if you say flexible I am thinking of tc95 as that was flexible enough for my standards of what I look for in a frame i.e. (below 60ra) and in that case tc95 with 18x20 has very beefy swingweight so that's where pop comes from. I did not think that tc97 was particularly powerful in comparison to say dr98 pop nor that flexible that would make you lose pop.Just nice middle of the road stick no more or less pop than say blade. How are the angells so powerful if they are flexible and thin beamed? Serious question, I've never hit with one.
Could not have said it better...Both companies offer superior products that are a cut above most offerings you will find at your local tennis shop.
Angell's are SUPER flexy and muted and offer good pop despite their very thin beams. "Old school-er's" will love them.
Donnay has a wider selection but most offerings are also very arm friendly and feel firmer than the Angells. More modern than the Angell's,
which are basically 10+ year old molds that rarely change.
Angell has far superior customer service and Donnay's is among the worst anywhere, unless you deal directly
with some of the co's higher ups.
Donnay has a great demo program, but their horrible cust service can make this a risky proposition

Others might disagree but for me it reminded me of 2015 blade 98 at 64 ra

angell...quality and customer service, paul is a great guy..good bang for the buck on a custom stick.
donnay is experiencing a slow death...sports direct owns donnay and they have a way of killing a good thing.....
customer service is horrible, quality has slipped, pricing model is insane...
Nice sticks, subjective yes...
this model of adding more cores is wacky...what is next hepta, octa...really
I do wish someone that cares would (buy them) resurrect them, it would be good for the market and bring them back in the game..
Filled...hmmm...some like those fillings..some do not.....

I ordered my fourth (and most likely final) Pro One Tricore and it was an adventure getting to me. I moved since my last order but I indicated my new address twice. Donnay's rep emailed me and told me they didn't have my grip size. I agreed to get a different grip size. Rep emails me again to tell me my original requested grip size was found. Great, all good. I get the email with the tracking number. They ship USPS Priority mail so I expect the racquet to arrive in two days. Racquet doesn't show. I figure it may take another day, no problem. I leave for a business trip knowing when i get home my racquet should be waiting. I get home 10 days later, no racquet. I punch in the tracking info. Says racquet is undeliverable and being sent back to shipper. damn. I email Donnay rep. Assures me that it was sent to my new address and promises to resend when they receive it. Another business trip and two weeks pass. I get home still no racquet! I track it again. The postal service rerouted it to my new address. I got the racquet the next day. It took over 3 weeks but i finally got it. Now I have two Pro One Tri's in regular rotation. Two brand new ones on the wall waiting to take their place. One first generation Pro One I use for practice and 8 sets of grommets. On a positive note, Donnay's rep was very good replying quickly to my emails and admitted someone there screwed up the shipping label. I got these at a good prices. I've only bought these on sale and/or with a discount and have paid between $125(2), $140 & $150 for them new. Despite the drama, still loving the stick!
Pro One gt?I've never played with an Angell, sounds like a spectacular frame. Sure like these Pro One GTs I recently picked up used though. Just the perfect combination of feel and crispness IMO with excellent comfort. Definitely more easy power with a bigger sweetspot than the Pro Tour 280. A slightly thicker beam which is fine by me, but nothing like a widebody where mishits totally misfire. My friend says hes never played with a better balanced frame. Feels like a quality solid frame - was a little afraid I'd feel something shaking around in there, but definitely solid and well made which translates to a very reliable hit.
Pro One gt?
