After his pathetic effort against Murray just now, not sure he'll even make it to a semi! That one loss of Djokovic recently doesn't change Cilic, like Ferrer and Berdych is Nole's personal pigeon! Cilic just hitting down the middle like that made no sense! It was like he wasn't ready to play even though the 2nd day of the tourney!

What a bizarre match. The scoreline is deceiving for sure. Both players actually had many opportunities to break in the first set.

Murray is on a roll at the moment, though. I always thought he has played with nerves every year since the WTF has been in London but maybe as a No. 1 he will bring some new swagger to the O2.

Cilic has an interestingly high peak level when he's in the mood so, that being the case, he will always be a very dangerous opponent. He's just come off a win in Basel and a semi in Paris so indoor hardcourts seem to suit his game. He could cause quite a bit of damage at the O2 this week and might well go all the way if his level and confidence remain high. Obviously the top 2 seeds remain the favourites but a motivated Cilic is definitely in with a chance too.

So I don't think I will be TOO surprised either!
