Don't know how many times I have to say it, but Djokovic is Freiza. I'm sorry, he just is. They both embody the same raw efficiency and live in an hibernation egg.

Fraud to do a random transformation out of nowhere and win the final after 0-2 and a break down as Golu has to always win no?

Also Nadal is Vegeta.
Nadal has case for both Vegeta and Gohan. Unquestionably Federer is Goku. The reason why I say Gohan, Nadal just like Gohan had a very high peak much early on, showing glimpses of it even during his fight against Raditz. And there were points when Gohan suprassed Goku, such as being the first to get Super Saiyan 2. Vegeta also works from the whole GOAT perspective, always chasing Federer, always trying to surpass his records, the way Vegeta wanted to do with Goku.

Murray is Krillin not Piccolo lol.
Murray is Federer's best friend? :) I thought Krillin is more like a Wawrinka, strongest human in world, just not ATG level. Them both being from Switzerland, training together. Murray has Piccolo's dry sense of humor.

Djokovic is Broly, his character fits perfectly. Broly was rejected and thrown aside, despite his crazy potential, kind of like how Djokovic gets pushed aside for Fedal. And Broly and Goku have history from a long time, Djokovic immediately emerged as Federer's rival. His ability to enter the legendary Super Saiyan is Djokovic's version of Earth's Mightiest Warrior, both rage in the same way in the heat of battle.

Well I can't picture that big a discrepancy in power between Wawrinka and Murray. I think I'd make Wawrinka someone like Tien. Murray would get the "strongest human" award with Krillin.

Well, we know how you picture Murray, so I am not surprised.

I'd also say Djokovic was Cell, not Broly. He had various incarnations (2006-2007 Djokovic being Imperfect, 2008-2010 Djokovic being Semi-Perfect and 2011-2016 being Perfect Cell).
Not really IMO, Djokovic has shown Saiyan qualities...the more tougher the battles, the stronger he got. His fights with Fedal continued to give him Zen Kai boosts, the same as a Saiyan gets it from a deadly wound. 2010 was him recovering from the near mortal wounds of 2007-2009, and 2011 he came up supercharged, with a massive chip on his shoulder to prove a point. Ultimate Zen Kai boost. Also Cell is designed to be the perfect fighting machine and has all fighting styles, Djokovic is not - heck Federer posses a better all court game. Djokovic doesn't have it to that degree, he is more of a baseline warrior similar to how Broly was an aggressive full contact sort of fighter, who didn't really have the fighting repertoire of Goku, and it shows that...Djokovic just like Broly was the outcast, the Serbian who simply was not truly accepted, and put aside for Federer - Goku. Their story is absolutely ideal.

Broly is non-canon trash though, Djokovic deserves better.

Broly is not trash himself as a character concept though, the non-canon world might be, but not Broly himself. One of the greatest DBZ characters ever, they even paid tribute to him in Dragon Ball Super. Too many parallels between Djokovic and Broly for me, the outcast role fits him perfectly.

He's an awful character lol. Decent concept though I agree.

He has a one hour movie. No chance to build him using the standard arc concept of Dragon Ball universe.
He had a second movie as well - won't count the third as that's technically just a clone, the guy is basically just an insane psychopath with a cool concept as the Super Saiyan of legend. Come on man Djokovic deserves someone better :D

But Cell can get Zenkai boosts as well. Yeah true he could do different styles, ect but I really think Djokovic strikes me as Cell. Besides the overhead he is pretty complete himself and around the time he was winning the most (2015-2016) people were applauding him for this. I think that is like Cell too.

But we can agree to disagree. It's not a comparison I'm making to disparage Djokovic. I can just see similarities.

Super Saiyans were originally designed to be insane killers. The Saiyan bloodline split into two very early on, and Broly's blood line was the one that took on the Legendary Super Saiyan blood line, while Goku, Vegeta went the other way. Again, with really a one hour movie, there was no time to build character, it was rushed to get everything in. Second one only happened because the first was a massive success. There is nothing wrong with Broly the fighter - he is full on the same way Djokovic is. Even now, fans went crazy when they saw the nod to Broly in Super, the guy made a massive impact, that is something which cannot be denied regardless of how flawed he may be as a character. Give him a full arc, and flesh his story out, and it would have been different IMO.

Cell continued to evolve throughout the saga. Djokovic did not, after 2007-2008, he dropped massively, which for me takes out the whole imperfect - pre-perfect thing you speak about. Cell only got better, he did not drop in power. Djokovic's power dropped like a Saiyan, he wasn't a constant evolution, he went backwards, his serve sucked, he served more double faults than aces in 2010, didn't make any slam finals for nearly 2.5 years. That is not Cell, Cell never took a step back in his evolution, that is like a Saiyan like Goku, Vegeta boosting up.

Djokovic was never as complete as Federer as an all court player, Cell was a more complete fighter than Goku though. Cannot see Djokovic as perfect cell, when there was another guy who had a more rounded game than his.

But, sure, we can agree to disagree.

Broly had nothing to give as a character lol. His character design sells to kids and it was a bit of fan service to put in DBS, but he's still a one-dimensional character. Djokovic has a lot more nuance in his game then someone like Broly. A guy like Future Trunks semi-fits, grows up in a war-torn world and is under the boot of two near invincible enemies and eventually surpasses them. Extend it to the Goku Black arc and he achieves his own power-up and forms a Big 3 with Goku/Vegeta and arguably surpasses them both at the end of his arc.

Cooler is my favourite movie villain due to his connection to Freeza.

No DBS, this DBZ thread. :)

Future trunks doesn't fit for me, that makes Federer and Nadal Android 17 and 18 then...doesn't work for me. Maybe for you. Broly as one dimensional as you say, is a direct rival to Goku, the same way Djokovic immediately upon his arrival on tour said he wanted to topple Federer.

Broly's arc isn't long enough to be a rival to Goku like Djokovic is to Federer. Maybe Djokovic is Gohan ;) reaches his potential as the most powerful warrior surpassing Goku and Vegeta, but decides he'd rather be a scholar and drops behind the two fighting nuts :p

I guess you can make a case for Vegeta for both Nadal and Djokovic, in that they are both chasing him. Definitely all three are saiyans.

Cell coughed up Android 18 so he did actually regress for a while.

Yes! It is Official! The next Dragon Super CANON Movie is called....

BROLY

Just like Djokovic returning back and getting closer to Earth's Mightiest Warrior form, Broly is now officially Canon and will be taking on SSJ Blue versions of Goku, Vegeta....Fedal. And if Broly is taking them on, then he is in true bad@$$ form...ties in nicely with Djokovic returning back to form at Wimbledon.

LOL - after turning perfect. Djokovic was not perfect in 08. :)
Nah but Cell did stagnate for a while when he was trying to absorb #18. That's Djokovic from 2008-2010, all-powerful at first but then insignificant when confronted by Nadal and Federer (Nadal being Vegeta and Federer being Goku).

It was in 2011 that he hit another gear and could beat these guys and was for a while considered above them (much like Perfect Cell was considered above both Goku and Vegeta).

He's Broly, getting stronger with each fight, ripping his shirt in the same barbaric way that Broly fights. The Legendary Super Saiyan who is now Canon. It's about time...

Will be a very different Broly though, AT is redoing his story. Movie 8 Broly will never be canon ;)

I always thought of Nalbandian as Piccolo. They kind of look alike, imo, and are both the best players/fighters, technically, that should have won much more. Piccolo worked harder, of course, and was denied by a script that puts too much hype on this godly-super-sayajin-versions stuff.

And now that he’s won Wimbledon he was revived by one Saiyan cell (one small part of Djoker left that was motivated) to wreak havoc once more.
