Pretty excited for the upcoming Laver Cup especially since it's going to be in America so I won't have to stay up in weird hours to watch it. Just wondering who do you guys want to see compete this year?

My wishlist:

Team World:
Nick Kyrgios (Confirmed)
Juan Martin Del Potro
John Isner
Kevin Anderson
Denis Shapovalov
Hyeon Chung
WC-Jack Sock

Team Europe:
Roger Federer (Pretty sure he's confirmed)
Rafael Nadal (Fedal again please)
Alexander Zverev
Marin Cilic
Novak Djokovic
Grigor Dimitrov
WC-Dominic Thiem

As much as I would love for this roster to be the real one, it isn't that realistic. McEnroe is probably going to have more Americans on the roster. I just wanted to spread out the representation for all different continents since it is called Team WORLD. For Team Europe, I emphasized on potential doubles pairings. Who doesn't want to see Rafa/Nole, The Twin Towers, or Fed/Baby Fed?

Yeah. Imo, I find him fun to watch, most because of his forehand. And I don't mind seeing a tweener here or there. But if another American, say Isner, were to replace the guy, I wouldn't mind. Isner probably deserves it too. He's playing pretty well thus far.

It’s top four from Europe/rest of the world post US open based on rankings with captains having 2 wildcard picks isn’t it?
 
The first 4 picks are based on ranking after Wimbledon, other two are WC.

Therefore as of now the teams would be this:
Team Europe:
Federer
Nadal
Zverev
Dimitrov
WC: Cilic and Goffin
Alt: Djokovic

Team World:
del Potro
Anderson
Isner
Schwartzmann
WC: Sock (for doubles) and Kyrgios (if healthy)
Alt: Shapovalov

That is if all players were willing to participate and the ranking between now and after Wimbledon would not change.

Actually the team World seems to be much better than last year (Isner in best season on his life, ressurgent del Potro, rising Shapovalov), so I really hope they would participate and make it competitive.

it is all fake. like Wrestling so don't think it matters.
