Dream Team: I want Gustavo Kuerten to coach Rafael Nadal

I said it. I want Gustavo Kuerten to coach Rafael Nadal. If Nadal gets bounced at the Rio Open 2016 then there will need to be some changes in the Nadal Camp. Tony will stay with Rafa and I purpose that Gustavo Kuerten be added to the team just like Boris Becker was added to the Djokovic camp. Novak (Djokovic) is at the peak of his career--and, I think that Becker has a big influence on that.

Nadal's legacy is on clay and I want him to maintain that. Nadal has been the best clay courter with a respectful 9 French Open titles. But, before Nadal was Gustavo Kuerten with 3 French Opens (1997, 2000, 2001).

GUGA x RAFA (feat. Uncle Toni). I would really like to see this happen.

I love Guga, but he's not going to tell Rafa anything Uncle Toni hasn't been telling him for the last 20+ years. He doesn't have a COACHING problem. He has an "impaired thinking" problem, or an injury/mystery affliction we don't know of.

I would love for Guga to be Rafa's coach. Unfortunately Rafa is too stubborn to change anything.

Now it seems to be a fair idea particularly after Rio loss. But, nadal won't commit him.He would do or die with his uncle Toni.

At this point it may make sense to get a new coach just for the sake of having one. May have a pyscosomatic or placebo type affect. Which counts for a lot if what he says is true and its more mental than physical.

I honestly dont see where he would ruin the relationship with Toni. He can just give him more power or control at the academy
