Duable multi as a cross with shaped poly main

I am looking for a soft, dampened multifilament as a cross to be used with a shaped poly (probably tour bite soft or cyclone tour). I understand that the shaped poly will kind of cut into the cross much more so than a smooth one, but like the feel and performance. I have used hexy fiber as a cross but it seems to get cut into really quick. I am looking for a durable soft multi as a cross! Any suggestions? Thanks

I"ve mentioned a million times, run the whole package of the same poly with softer tension, so you get the best of all worlds.
S and L tourbite is not durable, but it plays good when new.

No multi will be super durable with textured poly. But one of my favorite set ups was Tour Bite and X-One Biphase with lower tension and a four pound difference between them. I also liked Tecnifibre Black Code with X-One. Both of these set ups created good control, feel and comfort with ample spin and power. I was getting 20 to 25 hours of good play out of them. I played this set up in a variety of frame sizes and string patterns and varied the string gauge accordingly. NRG2 also worked well for me but was a little firmer. I want to try some of the newer non poly solid core strings but need to do more research.

Genesis Thunder Blast white would routinely give me about 15 hours before it would break when I paired it with Weiss Cannon Black 5 Edge which is probably as sharp as Cyclone Tour.
