I am certainly playing with the dunlop aerogel 4d 200. I have demoed the new biomimetic 200 and the 200 lite.. I dont think they feel anything alike! the feel is different (more of a hollow feel to the new ones and maybe alittle stiffer?). I have also hit with the babolat aero storm tour and while it feels closer to my 4d200s the weighting is alittle off(more head light than mine). I was thinking about trying out the biomimetic 100 because the specs seem more similar than the bio 200s.. Anybody hit with the 4d 200s and have a good comparison?

EXO3 Rebel has similar specs.

Are you swapping because you can't find new 4d200's? There must be some out there on the internet in normal sizes if you search hard enough

solid frame.
if you really look for new 4d200 I have one in 9.5/10 condition.. (played time < 10h).

The 4d is extremely solid, I used it for a year. BLX 95 kind of reminds me of it, but is stiffer and hits a lot bigger.

The Rebel 95 did not have that same feel to it.

Pure Storm Tour hits bigger, is more plush, but still not the exact same thing.

Dunlops always seem to match Wilson the closest when I compared them. They have the same kind of feel, but Wilson's generally hit a bigger ball because their Swing Weight is higher and they are stiffer.

I believe they lowered the swingweight on the bio 200 and that is what you are noticing.

I play with the 4d 200 and I agree that it's a solid racket a little underpowered but a solid racket.

I am thinking of trying the new ProStaff 95 as the specs are pretty similar (besides the weight)

I've used the 4d 200 and would love it better if I was still in my prime (great control frame; although a bit heavy after awhile). If you like that solid plank like feel you may want to try the Babolat pure storm tour, Wilson blx 93, dunlop 500 tour, and Technifibre 325. The dunlop 100 is also a good stick but favors one who can "create" their own shots (great for old schoolers who know how to work the ball).

Thanks for the feedback yall! I do think that the dunlop and wilsons are similar, before the dunlops i played w the wilson ncode six one 95 and they do seem similar. i was basically looking for a newer version of mine. i got the 4d 200s from a buddy of mine that was playing on the challenger tour, he wanted a set of golf clubs, so i traded him a set for 3 rackets and a bag.. that was about 2-3 yrs ago but since then the handle on one has been cracked and i can hear one of the other rackets handle starting to sweek alittle bit. And the new 200s i didnt think felt the same so ive been searching for a similar option.. the only thing that im worried about the bio 100 is the 90 sq inch head? the 200s are 95 but 90 just seems too small? Im a 4.0 and play 2-3 times a week.. i am 28 but have more of an older game(one hand backhand, eastern grips on both sides, alot better at the net than the base line, etc.) any thoughts on the smaller head being an issue?
