Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tour string suggestion

I have two Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tours, one strung with Dunlop Black Widow (58lbs) and one with Head Sonic Pro (58lbs) and like certain elements of both (more the Black Widow) but feel there are better options out there. In particular I'm lacking pop on my serve. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I think I've been operating under the wrong mindset where tension is concerned. I'll give yor suggestion a try te next time I go for a stringing.

Both myself and another player in our league play mainly with the 400T. We both hit hard and his serves are bombs (120mph).

Neither of us find the 400T is that string sensitive, but we both string at around 50lbs with full poly, or 55/50 with a gut poly hybrid.

I would find it boardy at 55+ with full poly.

What string set-up do you use (brand-wise)?

For full polys, either full Cyclone, or BHB7, or we sometimes put a smooth poly in the crosses, such as Silverstring, or Beast XP.

For gut hybrids, either VS or Pacific in the mains @55, and always a smooth poly, usually Beast XP @50, in the crosses.

This is my string setup too! The only difference is I string the BW at 48 and the Hexy at 55.

4 x 5 inch strips or lead are centered at 3 and.9. My hitting partner has since added 2 x 4 inches at 12.

Strings are VS/ beast xp 57/52. Hope this helps.

Thanks man... just getting going on this frame. Really reminding me of a spin friendly PK 5G. I will play these string until they are done.. since they are such nice ones.. but I will go much lower on my Poly/Syn Gut Hybid.. or try it the other way.. with a Multi in the mains and poly in the crosses.
