That seems way over priced by the wayHey guys,
I saw a Dunlop Black Max II on the big auction site for $114. What is the difference between this Black Max II and the original graphite Black Max?

......... I treated myself to one.
Same mold. There was a lot of Dunlop and a couple of Slazenger racquets made with the same Black Max II mold.Looks great condition, and a relatively lightweight sample, although that could be the few missing strings. Design is unsurprisingly very similar to the Slazenger Panther Pro Ceramic (Connors).
I also think I got a lighter one. The old gut strings were still in it.Looks great condition, and a relatively lightweight sample, although that could be the few missing strings. Design is unsurprisingly very similar to the Slazenger Panther Pro Ceramic (Connors).
It seems I got the heavier one. My Dunlop Black Max II weighs 358g as in photos (strung two overgrips instead of the main grip), evenly balanced at 34cm.I also think I got a lighter one. The old gut strings were still in it.
Here are the unstrung specs:
SW 298.6; weight 330.5 grams; balance 323 mm and RA 56.
It was great for serving. Probably would have suited me for groundstrokes as well, if we were playing outdoors on clay like this summer. But we already started the winter season, in this local amateur league. We're playing in a balloon hall, where clay is very damp and muddy. When balls soak up the moisture, they bounce less. And there are more bad bounces. So I wasn't getting enough time to execute my strokes properly. That's why tomorrow, to prepare for my next match, I'll be stringing this Dunlop Revelation Tournament Pro, which is 18g lighter, its balance is 1.5cm more head light, and has a 5 sq in larger head.I hope you still have a lot of fun playing.![]()
