Dunlop max 400 I “ L” series ? What does the L stand for ?

Ok I am inquiring a seller on an old Dunlop max 400i L racket ...never seen a max 200, 300, 400 L SERIES .

What does that mean when the frame states 400i L right on theframe ?

Do you mean it says '400iL' on the frame like it says '200GL' on the frame you discussed with Dino recently? Or do you mean there is an 'L' on the size sticker?

Never ever seen this ever .
L ….. what could that mean ?
I was just like you thinking it was a GL BUT that maybe perhaps the “g “ was eroded off the frame..
But nope it’s just the “ L” .. hmmmmm

I've not seen one but it's probably similar to the 200GL: 26 inch and low SW for a junior/lady/light person. The i and L being separated to avoid looking like poor spelling.

“L” probably stands for “Lady” or “Ladies.” Head did similarly in the late 80’s with its Astral variants, shorter and with smaller grips.
