Dunlop Max Comfort 17

How good is it?

(I know I should just try it, but I can't find it here, and the shipping where i live makes TW somewhat prohibitive for just one pack.)

If you have tried it, I would like to hear your opinion, especially if you can compare it to one or more of the following strings:

Bab X-Cel Premium 17
Prince Lightning 17
Gamma ESP 17

No offense, but I'm not really interested in your favourite Technifibre or Laserfiber or whatever. Ditto for opinions on the merits of natural gut. I really just want opinions from people who have used Dunlop Max Comfort 17 as well as the strings with which I am already familiar (see above).

TW would mail up to 5 string sets via USPS 1st class mail
which costs me $1.50 for where I live.
Have you tried to ask TW for this type of shipping ?

Sorry for no input on the MaxComfort. I'm waiting for the string myself.....

The Max Comfort is decent. A rather underrated string as well. It's in between the Lightning XX 17 and the X-Cel 17 that you have tried. Personally, my opinion and of many of my clients, the esp is rubbish. Not worth antying. The Max Comfort is a bit like regular Wilson Sensation. A good solid multi, with average durability, and slightly better feel than the Sensation. Therefore, it would mean similar durability to the Lightning(maybe a small bit better), with better feel and more power.

I agree that Gamma ESP is terrible. One of the worst strings I've ever tried. Couldn't cut it out soon enough. The Max Comfort is better.
