Dunlop Revelation Tour Superlong +1.00 OS specs

Just got one of these in very nice condition. It is 28 inches long with a 110 head. USRSA specs list it at 312 g (11 oz) with a swingweight of 327 and a 5 pts HL balance. But then they show a flex rating of 50. 50? For a 100% graphite racquet? This is at the absolute bottom end of stiffness for a modern racquet and flirting with wood frame territory. I've got a one of each of the Prince Longobdy mono shaft frames (Ripstick Longbody Extender and Mach 1000 Longbody Extender) and they are both n the 60 range. Is 50 really the flex rating for this frame or is it more likely in the low 60's range?

Thanks in advance for any input.

50's absolutely plausible. i have some old longbodies that are oversize and super low flex, lower than the specs indicate.
1. Gamma Tradition 20 Oversize XL . 107 head, 28 length, 326 swingweight, 16x19 , 58 flex. thin beam, maybe 20 or 19 mm straight beam. the flex is far lower when you string it up and hit with it. absolute noodle of a racquet where all you feel like you can do is spin the ball to the corners of the service boxes for short angles.

2. Yonex RD Ti-70 Oversize Long . 108 head, 18x20 pattern, 27.5 length, 315 swingweight, 19/20 mm beam as well, 59 flex. the tighter pattern and slightly less extended length makes it feel firmer than an open pattern 28 length but you can still tell the racquet flexes a ton.

overall it's about how the racquet feels to you. im sure if the beam is relatively thick compared to the two i listed, you won't deal with instability issues. you might even like the idea of the ball dwelling on the strings and the frame flexing a little. don't knock it til you try it. my tt warrior 97's are listed at 67 but the way they flex is still one of the most enjoyable feelings on a tennis court when you hit a groundstroke. almost like cradling a missile a quarterback throws at you and then being able to rifle it right back at them once you gain complete control over your catch

Interesting data on those 2 OSes. The Dunlop has a 24-21 mm taper tip to throat and a 18x20 pattern. So I can see how it could be very flexible when measured at the throat. Guess I'll string it up and see how it hits.
