Does anyone know where the Dunlop Volley shoes can be found in the US?
What an iconic aussie (adopted?) shoe.....
Don't get me wrong! The shoe obviously works for quite a few players here in melb!
Super grip on the clay courts but they killed my feet after only 15 mins hitting. Sold them on the spot to a more than willing mate who loves them!
Goes to show... horses for courses!
Pretty cheap too... AUS$40 retail at Kmart etc
just get a mate to send ya 1 or 10 by mail hehehe
I´m pretty sure Peter Luzak used the Dunlop Volley shoe at ATP level a couple of years ago in a ATP event in South America.
On the dry En-tout-cas courts of melbourne the Volley shoe gives good grip, but i mean a shoe like the Adidas Feather is so much better in every aspect (except price)
When i played down under in 2001, 8 out of 10 used the Dunlop Volley "sneaker" and i still can´t belive their feet survived a game in those shoes. It has no cushioning (spl?) what so ever...
It is cheap and can be used as casual shoes; also it is a bit hard to find those high-end range shoes and when you do find them...$$$ is a big factor
Some people don't care that much about their footwear; I personally used to use it until I found WAY better support and durability from Breah cage 2(worth the price) so now I just buy volleys for casual wear
Haha mate i bought some awseome volleys from rebel sport. For some reason they had extra padding (two insoles)
Coming across these : http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/sneaker-releases/Mooks-X-Dunlop-Volley/  has resparked my interested in the volleys.
If anyone can hook me up in the States I'll greatly appreciate it.
