I bought a Flex 940 with the idea of adding a Wise 2086 in the near future but I'm already having problems with the clamps.

Right out of the box, the clamp wheels were VERY difficult to rotate (tight?) and adjust as needed. It's been about two weeks and I'm going to send them in so their "technician" can check them. The string seems to be pushing the clamps open when I adjust it tight enough (without damaging) so it doesn't slip.

(Problem seems to be the wheel's thread is worn out enough that it slips with enough pressure)

I want to know if any of the other brands carry clamps that would fit the machine in case the Eagnas ones I get back are just bad

If it's not common knowledge, it would help if someone could post the diameter/length of clamps from their machine.

    Thanks in advance.

try pro's pro. they are not expensive. same stuff as eagnas, for the most part, the clamps should fit the bases.

do a search, "big t tennis".

the eagnas clamps you speak are decent, i had them on my combo 910. maybe victor (the technician) will send you some new ones.

You can also find them on the auction site for $50 but why buy a new machine and then start replacing parts right out of the box?

I buy 2 new ones every 1500 to 2000 rackets. Sounds like the knob screws were stripped. I have never had that happen. Used machines which have seen a lot of usage, generally, you have to replace the clamps

The replacement from Eagnas are $49 per clamp. Flea Bay has them for the same price with free shipping.

Most other companies are about $100 each.

A number of years back I ordered a set of those Eagnas clamps to try out and have as an extra set, but they sent me one new clamp and one used one as it was marred up, it still functioned okay. Due to terrible cust. support that was listed here on that company, I just kept them rather than hassle with returns, and also I realized that I liked the 5 tooth clamps that came with my machine better than those 3 tooth ones.(I use the xtremesportsmachines Pro Master).
The babolat star 4 clamps are same size as well as the xtremesportsmachines Pro Master clamps as the eagnas ones that you posted. You asked for other brands that fit.
You very well could have received used clamps, maybe even used machine?? I hope that they replace them for you. Good luck!

I would only buy new ones if the replacements they send me aren't that good. I could manage the tightness when adjusting the clamps, but it was tough enough that when working on a second racquet, my fingers were somewhat bruised. Then one of them gave out.

They should be able to get it right the second time (at least I hope so).
