Eagnas Hawk 26 stringing machine

I am new to stringing, would like to start with budgeted dropweight machine first.

I have shortlisted two , Kippermate and Gamma Progression 200 Stringing Machine.

However, I am in Hong Kong, we do have these two brands selling here. Klippermate cost me additional US$150 to ship, and TW do not ship Gamma one overseas.

Check the brand EAGNAS, I noticed a model HAWK-26 http://www.eagnas.com/hawk26.html
, just cost me US$150, and I can get it from china auction site with much cheaper shipping cost

Does anyone have any comments on this one?

I think you can buy that from Eagnas in Taiwan.

i have one. it is better than the klippermate imho. i would say that you should definitley get one. it is a very easy to use and well built machine.

The linear gripper makes stringing easier imo, i'd get it if I couldn't get a gamma machine.

btw, is the floating clamp vs fixed clamp make any difference in tension accuracy?

Fixed clamps are better like a Challenger I.
