Ektelon H, Neos Owners ....Question

Have an Ektelon Model H, seen very little use. I noticed some play ( wobble) in the turntable assembly, about an 1/8 ", where the shaft of this assembly goes down through the tension arm assembly. It is most evident when pulling main string tension. It looks like the brake assembly would have to come off to examine what is going on. Owners manual does not show this area very well. Any ideas?

i use that machine quite a lot, i'd say if it isnt too serious, and snt affecting your stringjobs, then let it be, but otherwise call prince up and let them help you out replace the parts they feel are malfunctioning. If the machien is still under warrenty that is. If it isnt, id say begin ot examine it closer, remove that brake assembly carefully, and try and findm the problem . are you sure its lubed where the mounting base goes into the vertical shaft? maybe something that shouldnt be there got in? its tough to say without seeing the machine or a more in depth description oif the problem.

I took the table assembly off the vertical post, and looked up from the bottom. It looks like there are bushings in there, where the shaft goes through. I'll probably try and take the brake off, so I can pull the table assembly out of the shaft, and have a better look.

Tennis Machines are the experts on these machines. They have a website by that name.

I have not seen a neos apart, but imagine most machines are similar. The cylinder shaft may be attached to this part with a bolt that applies pressure between the shaft and the part that connects to the mounting table. This shaft is the part that rotates. It may be loose. Has it always done it? If not, if it comes undone, watch out, the table can fall on the floor (the shaft could slide down inside the center post). The break assembly may be what is holding the table on.. If it has always done it, it may be a machining issue where there is too much play between the shaft and the cylinder it fits into. If it is held on with a bolt, you will see the bolt in the side of the part just under the table. If you can take a picture of the underneath, that will help. Your best bet would be to give tennis machines a call though. Just be careful if the bolt is loose.
